She only supports my own theory that Deckard Cain is long dead and Azmodan, Lord of Lies, has taken over the guise of Deckard Cain for unspecified reasons. She is, afterall, part of a clan that hunts down rogue wizards and sorcerers... while cain isnt one himself, he is part of a clan that was.
Or maybe she was just there to keep tabs on the Zakarum, who knows. Natalya is one of those characters I think blizzard should have given more story.
