Hi, I'm start to getting sick of my Wind druid, since all he does is cast Hurricane and running around the monsters. So I decide to go back where I start from, A werewold druid.

hmm, i have 2 things to say first, and i do not mean to offend you. :)
1. pls, PLS, dont post the stats of the items, we all know what they are, if not, we know where we can find them. the forums are already having trouble to save bandwidth. and also, its easier for ppl to answer your question without scrolling up and down the post.
2. is this for pvm or pvp? i would assume pvm because you mention about going through monsters with your wind druid.

with that said, i would put less in vit and more/rest in str. a werewolf wil have enough ar to hit, therefore, with str, you will do more damage, with more damage gives you more leech, with more leech, makes you live longer. the stat distribution ressembles to a pvp build to a certain extent, so its a decision you must make there.

skill distribution looks great. however, you may want to consider using oak because it is more party friendly, and if you are going for str build, it wouldnt hurt to have some extra life boost. IMO, with +skills and whatever, feral is good enough with base pts, or atleast just a few. i would think putting rest in rabies would be useful and equip a carrion wind ring. (so u get synergies for rabies, just be sure not to put any pts in psn vine.)

with that said, now gear.
if u decide to go fury/rabies pvm, then obviously one of the rings must be carrion wind.
next:
ring 1: Carrion wind
ring 2: Bul-kahtos would be great, leech +skills, a lil life boost. neat.

helm: jalas, good

Ammy: highlords is really useful for pvp, i rather use another ammy, cats eye, maras for resists and skills maybe? better yet, if i were you, i would use atma's scarab to fend off Physical Immuners. Even if you have rabies, its always nice to hammer an enemy with fury while the psn wears on the monster.

Armor: Duriel shell, that is one of my favorites pvm armors. if you feel like you take heavy physical damage and cannot survive, then use shaft. (stormshield gives DR, i know, but.... read further.) if you're lacking resists, go for duriel's shell. i love it too much simply it has life, resists, str bonus and best of all, cannot be frozen. even tho in pvp its important, i find it important in pvm too.

Boots: Gore riders, yes, great stats and stuff. open wounds and crushing blow is very useful for pvm. War travs is nice too.

Gloves: LoH is good against those demons, venomgrip is useful too: ll, crushing blow, psn resists. If you can afford it, dracul's grasp is awesome too. Even tho the gloves may sometimes overwrite amp (if u use atma's).

Weapon: for pvm, i would suggest using a 2 hand weapon instead for more damage. Ideally, a perfect ethereal great poleaxe botd or an ethereal tombreaver. but hey, you can settle for something in lower value and still do as good. Just make sure that weapon is fast enough and the damage is well worth it. refer to thedragoon's calculator if you want to figure out what is a good fast 2hander. But what i would recommend using for pvm is buriza. Its a bow, but you wont be shooting arrows, u'll be swiping with freeze targer, high cold dmg AND very nice physical damage. Buriza is also quite cheap. If its on ladder, be sure to upgrade to elite to make it EVEN more powerful. Plus, having buriza will give you another source to deal with Physical immuners.

Shield: Read weapon section. Why i dont like having a shield? I feel ilke having a shield puts me in blocklock too much and prevents me from leeching back life and killing the monsters. even tho, this is not for pvp which means u dont need to get 75% block, you still block and sacrifice damage. in pvm, i consider damage to be more important, if you can do a lot of dmg, then you can stay alive a lot longer.

thanks alot the advise are great :thanks: and as u mention before 2 handed hitters, I got The Cranium Basher is that good for this build? and I will have to put alot of points into strength to use but more strength (253) will lead to higher damage and higer damage leads to more leech..so on.

my point is to direct you to thedragoon's calculator, from there, you can do it yourself and figure out if cranium basher is good for the build. ie, fast enough? damaging enough? you are correct tho, the damage is quite nice, but here comes the preference of speed, you might want something that is faster, so it does more damage in the same period of time, more damage->more leech etc. etc.

another advice, dont quote something that is that huge, another way to save the forums bandwidth :)

thanx I will watch it from now on, and I have try out the speed calu with weapon like lIght sabre, basher, B star, and one more newbie question, is it the weapon attack faster with more flames?

I got a Schaefer's Hammer socket with shael and I'm planning using strom Shiled so, I will pump my strength to 135 then gain 15 strength from Durel's sheel, 30 from strom and 20 from Jolol will this will work as good> and if not what do u think is the best weapon for this built? thanx

instead of asking every weapon possible, i think its best to refer to thedragoon's wereform calculator which can be found in the sticky section of this forum.

this is a melee build, so holy freeze or might merc i would say. personally, i would go for might.
