My Take on Frenzy Barb

My first build... Just a general opinion.

Stats- Strength- Plenty, affects damage and allows use of eqpt.
Dexterity- Less than strength, Mostly eqpt, but also AR
Vitality - Rest here
Energy - NONE, get a mana drain item.

SKill Breakdown: 1xBash, Double Throw, Shout (Prereqs for frenzy and syn.)
20x Mastery of your choice, must be either Axe Sword or
Mace mastery. I'd go with Axes or Swords.
20x Iron Skin, helps your defence
20x Double Swing (early skill, prerq. for Frenzy, Synergy for
Frenzy
20x Taunt, useful on bosses (minions) and ranged attackers,
Synergy for Frenzy
1-10+ Natural Resistance, helps push over hell resistance
Dont flame me yet. Somebody's gonna say "Why not put points in Berserk?" because, most monsters later on are magic immune or resistant, and as difficulty goes up, monsters get more resists and immunes. Better to resist their attacks better.
With this build I reccomend:

Arreat's Face (+30 res, +2 barb lvls, +2 Comb lvls)
Verdungo's
Gore Riders (CB and Open Wounds are good,upped later)
Lava Gouts (IAS, Fire Resist, Enchant on Striking, upped later)
2x Katho's -or 1x Katho's 1x RF
1x Mara's (+25 or better), or Good rare amulet
3x Bcomb Lifers (you get 20 life for every 5 vita)
7x Bcomb FHR (u need it, trust me)
9x 5/5 (+5 res all/5% FR/W)
1x Anni

2x Rare rings w/ CBF/Skills/Life
1x Mara's (20+) -or- good rare amulet
5x Bcomb lifers (you'll need more strength)
3x Bcomb FHR
2x Bcomb Mana Steal
9x 5/5 (see /\ "Rich people")
1x Anni -or- 5/5

well, there ya go. Any input would be nice.

there are a few problems here:

you have no points in frenzy?

and no points in battle orders?

and maxed iron skin... instead of shout?

and unless you dont plan on pvming you need it least one point into berserk.

heres a frenzy build:
20 frenzy
1-20 taunt (work on this skill last)
20 double swing
20 battle orders
20 weapon mastery
1 shout
1 iron skin
1 increased speed
1 natural resistance
blah blah pre reqs.

and barb combat gcs dont do anything for frenzy... give you like a couple of damage. 3/1x/1x Or 3/20/20 charms are what a barbie needs.

for gloves you *forgot* to mention dracul's grasp (which make frenzy impossible to kill pretty much in PvM), and LOH.
amulet = highlords wrath/classic duped ammy/maras/angelics.
rings = ravens/angelics
armor = upped shaft/enigma/levi/fortitude/coh
weapons = grief + beast/botd + beast/doom + beast/
last wish, and death also arent bad considering.

OT: what eqpt would i need for a WW Polearm?

Bonehew (2x 30/15) (< Better suggestion PLZ!!! o_O)

(Charms... blah blah blah...)

I think an Etheral Breath of the Dying Great Poleaxe would be a good bet. But, that was obvious.

NEVER put more than one point into Natural Resist; it's a total waste.

max shout instead of iron skin, max battle orders too...
for polearms BOTDs are the shizzy... doom isnt a bad customer either.

Not many monsters are magic immune. It seems like you mixed up the magic (the type Berserk, Bone Spear and Bone Spirit deal) and elemental (fire, cold, lightning) You need some non-physical attack as a backup for physical immunes.

Kingslayer - it's a mistake isn't it? Why Kingslayer?
Crescent Moon? Stormlash is better. Stormlash / Shaefer's is awesome combo.
Good one is also Beast (fanaticism) + Shaefer's/BOTD

poor:
2x 6o Zerkers w/ 6x (12x total) 30/15's (Jewel, 30% ED, 15% IAS)
I play single player only, but the 30/15 jewels are almost as rare as 40/15. If I had 12 of them, i wouldn't call myself poor :). But maybe there are lot of dupes of these on BNet, I have no idea. (Strange, why would someone dupe a 30/15 if he could dupe 40/15?)

EDIT: The off-hand weapon IAS doesn't count for Frenzy attack speed. It's useless to have IAS on both weapons.

Doll call has nice skills selection.
My would be:
15 Mastery
20 Double Swing
20 Frenzy
20 BO
5+ taunt
10 War Cry
(very defensive, good for poor players)

OR
15 Mastery
15+ Double Swing
20 Frenzy
20 BO
15 Shout
(defense route)

Just a small note - Taunt does not work on Bosses or Champions etc. so if not for the synergy it would be only be worth 1 point.
