my strafer is lame...... HELP!!!

she is lvl 70 now and i figured i would find some higher damage bows as i went along but i havent.... I have been using upped Kuku and Silence in a gothic bow (the only 6 soc bow i have found) I plan to use Hellrack when i get lvl 73 and im looking for 4 soc elite bows always. My gear is a mess to....
I have COH, nesferatu coil, upped rockstopper, rare battle gauntlets with +2 bow skills 20% ias, war travs, highlords, 2 rare rings mostly with res and a ton of res charms...... She was alot of fun in NM but now she is just not killing fast enough, my merc is using doom right now is that the right choice? Any help????

Use Fortitude/Faith yourself or Windforce yourself/faith your act1 merc instead. Consider to swap the nos for razortail if you have the IAS covered.

Some would still argue the windforce + merc faith setup but you'll not be able to reach frame 7 attack speed IIRC. However, to me I think a bowazon is all about their IAS. It's always a best idea to have her reach frame 7 attack speed as there isn't really a reason you don't want to. I personally would favour the Lvl14/15-2-3 GMB Faith + NM Might Merc(Offensive) + Eth Pride for the greatest possible dmg per each fire. That's over 850%+ in dmg with all 3 auras stack together. I'd also suggest getting a minimum 3k+ eth Fort armor with 1.5x life stat for your merc (Resist doesn't matter, even a 25 will help him reach max resist at high lvl). The choice of polearm should be a eth 4sock Collosus Axe for the greatest possible dmg becouse Pride doesn't have ED% bonus. It may be a good idea for your to look for a ED Eth CA and make/reroll to lvl 20 Concentration aura. With GMB and its +10 WSM, you'll need +95%IAS gear to get your bowazon reach frame 7 attack speed. (fastest)

In the past, I used to think hammerdin is the best choice of all to kill in hell as there are many immunities but surprising with the above setup mentioned, my bowazon can kill so much faster than my finished 13K dmg build MF hammerdin. Only prob I find with my bowazon is that she doesn't kill nearly as fast as my hammerdin when facing hell baal alone, even with all the best / perf equip/runewords you can think off. Her guided arrow is roughly around 9-10k at 7 frame attack but a full stack of 350shot arrow will only cut it down to about 90%, a few times just enough to kill hell baal without making my way to town and restock on arrows.

PvP I personally think a godly Bowazon would own most of other class including hammerdin, necros, sorcs, barbs...however dealing with godly trapzon, smite/zealer/charger hybrid pal, and elemental druid may be a little tough.

yes you can. Windforce has WSM of 10. To get fastest strafe rate with a lvl13+ fanat aura from the merc requires 55IAS, multi/GA is 95IAS.

My zon has shaeled WF (40) Andys with IAS jewel (35) Laying of Hands (20) = 95% IAS total which hits the last breakpoint.

The WF/merc faith setup is king IMHO.

Ok a couple questions..... what is windforce? And i never have used act1 merc but it seems silly to have to ranged attackers or maybe i am just silly if i should use act1 merc what should her gear be?

Windforce is Uniq hydra bow. And Act1 mercs are great. Faith is best weapon for act1 merc. I have enough damage, so I like to use Harmony bow, she dont kill much, but vigor aura is nice for overpowered amas.

well i replaced coh for fortitude and silence for faith. I put fort in a dusk shroud and faith in a blade bow..I know these are not the best but they were the best i had laying around WOW!! what a difference!! she's finally doing decent damage! I am keeping my act2/off merc for now. I have a lvl 18 valk so maybe i dont need two tanks.... i will get (look for) windforce ( i assume it is a bow) and give faith to a act1 merc see how that works.

But here you get it a bit mixed up. Not only can you fire at maximum speed with a Wf/Faith, but you will also fire with 100% pierce, Amplify Damage, 350ed demons extra and your merc will not die in CS.

Hey noobster, i was totally in the same boat as you, made a game called AmazonsSuck because i was so frustrated.... Ok heres what ya do, get 10-15 more lvls and get a Faith...... Solve all your problems.... and make sure your Valk is high enough to tank for ya.

a simple doom flash - or holy freeze flash if your battling a paladin - is all that is needed to make your bowazon useless.
