My Smiter..

Ok my first post is at the same time a question

I am building a pvp smiter..

Have a question about skills

So far I have 20 Fanaticism, 20 Smite and 20 Holy Shield
As for prerequisites and 1 point wonders I chose Sacrifice, Zeal, Holy Bolt, Charge, Blessed Hammer, Might, Blessed Aim, Concentration, Salvation and Defiance.

I saw most pure smiter guides max defiance, since I am using exile I saw no use in maxing it. Instead I want some secondary skill or something more of an hybrid.

For now this char will be lvl 82 wich is when I can wear CoA..
So that leaves me with 23 skillpoints.. Also later I will level it to 90 when I am bored.. so that would add another 8..
So with a range of 23-31 skill points what would you guys do?

you can max resist lightning for the +max res bonus (which is what i did on my current build). you could max out charge if you like (i miss the high-powered charge of my old build sometimes).

maxing defiance is generally something that only a high-def barb-killing smite build needs to do.

(personally, i'd put a point into Holy Freeze and Vigor too)

If you max defiance the synergy bonus it gives to holy shield is insane i love it but if you don't want to do that then i agree with everything mephiztophelez said
