My MF Sorc needs Resistances!

I'm currently working on my first MF sorc. She's a lvl 76 meteorb in hell.

Equipment:

Tarnhelm
Nagel
Nagel
Goldskin
Chancies
Rare 24% boots
24% magic amulet
Skulders
The Ward
+2 all sorc skills +60 mana magic orb

My problem is that I have negative resistances in hell.
The Ward gives me +47 to all and my rare boots give me a little, but besides that I'm kind of screwed. Any ideas on how I can boost my resistances in hell?

first of all, put a PDiamond in your shield
second try to get a hold of an occy they're not that expensive
3rd try to get some res charms

Pdiamond gives +19 allres in a shield
Oculus has All Resistances +20

Ok, so I'll socket the Ward and put in a PDiamond. Is there a better resistance shield though? Should I socket my tarnhelm and put in a PTopaz?

I'm not sure if I can get oculus. I don't think I have anything good enough to trade.

You don't need a lot of mf to start out with. First thing is to get a decent cast rate so you can get to Meph (I assume) faster. More cast rate will also mean less chance of being hit be elemental dmg therefore there's no need for resists.

By the time you get a skullders, you should already have come across plenty of resist or cast rings. Those will help if you need resists or faster cast. My MF blizz sorc had negative resists in hell and she almost never dies due to a 9 frame teleport.

Put perfect diamonds in Moser's Blessed Circle for nice resistance. And keep your MF gear on your second weapon slot, I switch between Ocu/Lidless and Ali Baba/Rhyme shield when I give the boss I run the coup de grace.

50% Faster Cast Rate
Regenerate Mana 15%
Increase Maximum Mana 15%
All Resistances +75

Quick fix for mephy: Drink antidote and thawing potions before the fight.

Rhyme (fairly decent and cheap shield: Shael-Eth) gives 'cannot be frozen' next to some other decent mods, such as 25% MF.

try getting tals armour has good res and and mf and i noticed tals plate getting cheaper i got one for 30 pg`s i also have 2 nagel ,rhyme,boots with good poison res but 23 mf to add plus chancy`s 37mf.I have 75 res all in hell and about 500 mf

that would boost ur 47 to 75 maxed.
