I have just enough strength so that when i wear my marrowalks the +17 on them covers the rest of the required 118, i have an ammy that is plus 17 to strength that i wear to put them on. when i left a dueling gaming after having died they weren't there anymore.

My guess is something along these lines: you died, picked up the body, the boots stayed in the corpse, you died again, left the game --- if you have two corpses, only the one with the higher gold value will be saved.

Frankly , it's stupid to rely on that str bug ,even more for a pvp char. You should always your str up to a point where you can equip everything without switching stuff around.

What I'm trying to say is , if you use lets say the 20 statpoints from your anni to equip the rest , that's fine. But if you use lets say the 20 str from Tgods , just to equip Tgods (you need a replacement 20 str to equip Tgods first) , you risk losing stuff.

I feel your pain... I got booted from b.net while transferring my +2/19 marrowalks... finally got back on 5 minutes later and game was gone. :hanky:

This didn't happen to the thread author. :D Anyway , you should never mule alone. Just get a friend with an empty char to hold your stuff for you.

If you dont have friends who can help u mule my advice is:
Dont rush in and out of chars if its really good stuff on the ground, just take it easy. Better safe then sorry :thumbsup:

I feel all of your pain as well:

1) My shako was smashed; too lazy to repair; died in Canyon; swamped by AAing minions; left the game; rejoined; gg; lost my enigma

2) Opposing clan member killed me; I went back for corpse; he realized I didn't have enough str for something; he killed me again on purpose; he guarded me till I left and rejoined; gg; lost my marrowwalk

3) I traded a 49% mf travelers for 2/19/17 marrowwalk (1 more skeleton mastery than the one I lost); I didn't do drugs nor alcohol, but I don't know what went over me, I did the stupidest thing, traded for it and immediately dropped the item on the floor as though I knew the seller and came back to get my item using marrowwalk; gg; lost my 2nd marrowwalk

4) I had an elemental gc, a couple of lame crap, and the catch, an ethereal 6 socketed cryptic axe; needed xfer; no one trustworthy; decided to self-xfer; dropped everything, same thing came over me again, I left immediately, never did drugs nor did I do alcohol, I didn't even have the most minute perverted thought in mind; when I saw the empty screen with the blue gem in the centre and CREATE and JOIN buttons on right hand side, I was like --- gg; lost at least 3 runes of value

Moral of the story?

1) I did something of room temperature IQ -_-;

2) I know how it feels, but gaming has to get along; improvement in a competitive world when you are losing as people are gaining lies with adaptability, adapt; sell something of less importance for another marrowwalk; replace your marrowwalk, do anything, or lose out...

3) Bugs can be abused, but don't let them have a grip on you
