My long booooooring project. Now you can chose.

Hello

Finally I made it. From the begining of the ladder.
In order to make one very good killing machine from each class i gather all of my equipment into one big project. I want be original but it will be my Magnificent seven. But I need opinions from you experienced players. What build and what runeword // gear selection will be optimal. I will list all chars (all are at level 75 with no skill or stat point used) and all equipment which i have now. Treat it like a big pack of Lego bricks and asssembly me a really good chars.

Druid (lev 75, 85 skills left, 380 stats left) Druid torch, anni
Sorceres (lev 75, 85 skills left, 380 stats left) Sorceres torch, anni
Paladin (lev 75, 85 skills left, 380 stats left) Paladin torch, anni
Necromancer (lev 75, 85 skills left, 380 stats left) Necromancer torch, anni
Assasin (lev 75, 85 skills left, 380 stats left) Assasin torch, anni
Amazon (lev 75, 85 skills left, 380 stats left) Amazon torch, anni
Barbarian (lev 75, 85 skills left, 380 stats left) Barbarian torch, anni

Equipment - nothing really special - 1 HOZ, 1 Shako, 2 SoJ, Windforce. I give all of my other equipment for free :). If i have every item in game it will ruin my fun (mostly MF)

And last but not least the runes - 1 Zod 1 Cham, 3 Jah, 3 Ber, 4 Ohm, 2 Sur 3 Vex, 2 Gul, 4 Ist 3 Mal 3 Um 2 Pul 5 Lem (and every lower in at least 3)

Now Enjoy planning.

In your answers please suggest the build, the gear, the purpose and some personal opinions :) It will be great.

Thx in advance

Chris

You only want efficient killing machines? Would...deviant bulids work?
Boring characters:
  • Amazon: Lightning Javazon with Infinity Merc
  • Assassin: Trapsin with Infinity Merc
  • Barbarian: BvC with Grief and Beast Zerkers
  • Druid: Windy Druid or Fury Wolf
  • Necromancer: Summoner with Pride-Might Merc
  • Paladin: Hammerdin (I feel dirty now)
  • Sorceress: Lightning Sorc with Infinity Merc

That list makes me a sad panda (HAH, finally an excuse to say that).
Less boring list:
  • Amazon: Poizon (max Plague, max Poison, Bramble + Trangs, I hit 151k Poison Jav...it's coo')
  • Assassins are weird...make a Tiger Striker (Nightfish has a guide)
  • Barbarian: Double Throw Barb (use Grim Ward)
  • Druid: Hunger Bear (Janus has a guide)
  • Necromancer: Poison? I'd still say Summoner...they're too cool.
  • Paladin: Tesladin (There's an old guide in the Paladin forum)
  • Sorceress: Enchantress with Conviction Merc (Enchant him and watch the monsters fall apart).

Thx Lord Nyax

Your list is really tempting.

But to many ber's ypu used :) 3 infinities = 6 bers + Enigma for hammer + Beast i think.

I can certainly use Trapper Idea And Summoner idea.
I am tempted to use Fury-Rabies hybrid with Bramble.
But for amazon i prefer to use Windforce.

So for sorc, barb and paladin i need more advices.

Of course i am still not closed to other opinions

You could do what some people do in the SPF: 7 different chars--->use the 7 class specific sets.

Paladin-Griswold's Legacy-avenger or zealot maybe? Or even a Tesladin.
Barbarian-Immortal King-Whirlwind
Amazon-M'avina's Battle Hymn-Frostmaiden
Necromancer-Trang Oul's Avatar-Poison/summon hybrid
Sorceress-Tal Rasha's Wrappings-Meteorb, light, CL/FO
Druid-Aldur's Watchtower-hard to think of a build for this one. The crappy weapon ruins the chance of a decent Fury, and the lack of FCR means that a caster druid is out of the question.
Assassin-Natalya's Odium-Phoenix Striker?

This shouldn't be too outrageously expensive, since most of the gear are just set items.

Or if you want 7 insane powerful characters, Lord Nyax's idea is pretty much dead on.

You just want the fastest-killing build for each class? I'd pretty much agree with nyax.

I agree with Nyax, wonder of wonders. Everyone is going to have min/maxer builds, bug exploiters and Enigma worshippers. I'd do something fun (ie hard).

Of course if being l337 is what you want, don't listen to us.

I like your happy panda list. I love my poison 'zon. With the Necro, try being a Lord of Mages with Lower Resist and maybe poison for your remaining points, I've always wanted to give that a shot. There's heaps of weird Assassin builds, I have one that uses Blade Fury. Weak as piss but fun as hell.

I always wanted to make a Barb that specialised in Leap Attack, but there's a deal-breaking bug in that skill. I hate you, Blizzard.

I am tempted to use Fury-Rabies hybrid with Bramble.
I'm building one right now, he's fun. Decent damage too, once he's fully built.

Yeah, I built a few of my chars around sets. I can't help loving sets, even though they aren't really the best gear for the most part.

No not the sets - i have made all of them already :) And for aldur try Aldur goldfinder druid. I made a semi guide on druid forum some time ago.

And i dont want to have the quickest killers. Just decent killing speed and much fun :) leveling them to level 75 was boring as hell.

Amazon - Bowazon with Windforce (i need build for her. Is the mix of strafe and magic viable ?) Chaos sanctuary runs for socketables
Druid - Fury rabies with bramble. (Weapon ?? Preferably runeword i dont have uniques such as the Tomb reaver :)
Assasin - Trapsin with infinity definietly. Thx Lord Nyax
Necro - Summoner with Pride/Might Merc another Thx to Nyax

Paladin ?? is hammer the only viable option for baal running ??
Barb ?? i dont know never made good barb need suggestions for weapon and armor and the build of course.
Sorc ?? here i am almost sure. Dual Dream Passion Enchant sorc with the energy shield. It will be fun :)

Paladin - Dreamer, I know you have those two Jah runes  and apart of those the rest is relatively cheap stuff, unless you ofc go full auradin setup. I made a 4fpa zeal fully synergised dual dreams and conviction aura... That's sweet in the pits.

My setup (check the paladin forums for different setups)
Dream Helm
Dream Pally Shield (with resists)
Treachery Armor
Crescent Moon Phase
Laying of Hands
Credendum
Saracen's chance (maras or metalgrid if you can afford)
Ravenfrosts (or nice rares)

Runes used: 2x Jah, 2x Pul, 1xUm, 1x Lem, some cheaper, rest of the gear is common set items or uniques.

Killing speed? insane... might be a bit fragile until fade kicks in, but it still kicks as with it's crazy dps. (1-7000 lightning dmg per swing, most enemies at -100 lres and over 6 swings per second. Also don't forget the ctc static field, OW and a small portion of physical dmg or the lvl 15 venom)

edit: before I could afford the HRs in the Dreams I used to have a tesladin, they kill fast aswell but these guys does the same dmg with conviction aura added.. jummy!

I gotta agree. Here is my Magnificant 7:

1. Zealor 1pt smiter (Pride merc) - my Uber killer and Cow pulverizer
2. Charged Boltress/Orber (Infinity merc) - my Rusher and area clearer (mass drops and pgems)
3. Mauler Werebear (Pride Merc) - just a leecher and mule - he sucks
4. Berserker Barb (Insight Merc) - Chaos'r
5. Poison Zon (not made yet) - Prolly a better Chaos'r
6. Summoner Necro - mages + skellies (Infinity Merc) - goes everywhere, Uber killer, boss killer and Prime mf'er
7. Hammerdin pally (Insight Merc) - for key running in 8 player games

No sin sorry - don't like them.

I had one of these guys. It was fun...but it wasn't any more fun than a regular Summoner. I must say, it was far better in PvP than the normal Skeleton Warrior based Summoner I made. Nevertheless, I still maintain that the Skeleton Warrior Summoner is the best choice for both my sad and happy panda lists.

I do love my skellies, I just wish Bliz hadn't made them so powerful every putz wants to be one.

If you want a great Enchantress I'd suggest you use Kingslayer instead of Passion. Passion is a Zon weapon because that's the only class that can make full use of it. Likewise, Kingslayer is a Sorc weapon - Sorc Masteries work as synergies for Vengeance.

For Zon I wouldn't be me if I didn't tell you to build a Palazon. If you can manage it, give her Merc a Pride polearm. It requires a Passion weapon (Scourge is best), Fortitude Armour, and a bunch of % damage to demons/undead items. The build can solo anywhere and kill everything in the game (except Pandemonium bosses because PMH doesn't work on them (can kill the original Uber Diablo, though), the Pandemonium areas are great places to fight because the Palazon must use her full skills at all times, especially in the Furnace). I put up a half finished and incredibly confusing guide that can be found in the Zon forum, so read that and then PM me and I'll give you the non-confusing version. Every single person that has deviated from my build ("ALL Tankazons have to load up on CB you n00b!!!!1!!!one!"; "Amazons don't need maxed resists"; "Don't you know that Amazons can't use a sword and shield because they'll die"; "SoJ is better than BK"; "I would rather use Mara over Seraph's Hymn any day"; "Phase Blade is the only choice for a sword") has failed and complained that the build doesn't work, but I have a level 97 Palazon that disagrees vehemently - every piece of equipment is there for a reason. This is also a build that requires thought in combat, running straight into a pack isn't always the best thing to do.

Another oSkill build I have wanted to try for a LOOONG time but never got around to is a "Pyrobarb". Mara, 2xSoJ, Dual Flamebellow, full Trang Pieces, Hexfire and Phoenix on Switch. Such a shame that a lvl 40-50 Inferno is no more useful than a lvl 1... but maybe Infinity would solve that.

As for the other classes... who cares? Amazons own.

Don't take this as rude I must be blunt for lack of time.

How about just start one of those characters, play the game and use only the stuff you find in the game on that toon? Is called Iron-Man.
Less cookie cutter /what everyone thinks is the best toon and more play the game.
Thanks.

I very far away fro taking that rude. In fact i play that game since it came out. I have tried many builds twinked and not. But never have anything even close to that kind of wealth like my nowdays list of runes. So now i want to realy enjoy their (runes) power. Please give me fun, powerfull and entertaining builds. Assasin is very cool thx Nyax :) Next will be the summoner.

I would suggest either making a Zealer (1pt smite) or a Fury-Wolf ...... annoying when Dclone shows and you have no decent char to take him down (& Uber trist..etc.)

edit: I guess a Kicker or Frenzy barb too..

The Vita-Fury Wolf I made works amazing. It's a base strength Enigma build, pure Vita and Maxed Fury/WW/Lych/Oak. 9k life, insane AR.
