My introduction thread

Hey everyone, My name is Danny. I'm 23 years old, and I finally decided to come back to Diablo. I have played with my singleplayer characters here and there, but not much within the past two months. I've been very busy with school :p

I have a few high level characters, but I'm actually working on a few projects, which I hope to accomplish sometime within the year.

peace yo :afro:

yea sorry none warned you about some shin guards oh well to late now. Id like to here more about your playing career but Im nosy

Well, I played on my friends Hammerdin and He had an mageplate enigma. I decided that I want one too. They were just so usefull. I could run Countess, meph, and baal in a very short amount of time. So I have a few runes saved up, nothing even close though =\

My character names are as follows:

Brutus - Concentrate barb

Dell - MF Blizzard sorc

Enigma - level 1 hammerdin who will wear an enigma hopefully within the following year

Static - My Light sorc - I use her for baaling

Mirrors - Level 1 assassin that I will hopefully work on sometime. Haven't decided what she is going to be.

Entrapment - Javazon

Brutus and Dell are both level 80
Enigma is level 1
Static is level 89
Mirros is level 1
Entrapment is level 78

Welcome to the SPF

Good luck with the Enigma project. I have to warn you, the aren't that many Single Player people that have the runes for such an equipment piece so this may be a long term project.

I figured that much. I'm not even close to halfway to an Jah rune. Let alone a Ber rune. I guess it helps if you save your runes instead of socketing them or making runewords huh

Welcome! Here's your goodie basket of baked goodies and squid repelant. Don't mind the shin kickers, it's a good thing.

Do read the stickies and SPF FAQs and don't forget to tell us a few more things about you: general geographic location, what you do when not playing D2, favorite cookie, ardvarks or anteaters, that sort of thing! You get more cookies and we get to know you better.

I'm an advark kind of guy. Located in Kansas City, Missouri. I live with two of my buddy's, and enjoy lots of partying. I am 17, but don't have a job yet.

I do have a request though, if anyone here knows about computer programming, webdesign, etc, Please PM me. I would love to create websites for people, but I don't have the slightest idea where I should start.

Thanks!

hmm, you missed the most important one, your favortie cookie! I hope chocolate chip will do.

As for the website work, i would suggest taking a graphic design course at a community college or the like. It helps with knowing not only how to put stuff there, but what to put. And now a days lots of courses will give a bit of grounding in the coding too.

Really...
I would take a class but money is very tight with me right now. I was hoping that there would be a few tutorials wandering around the net. I am sure there are, but I asked this here to see if anyone else has used one before, and could recommend a very good one.

Well it doesn't help for web design specifically (it might just haven't research that avenue yet) but you can take some online tutorials in Java programming for free at the java website, java.sun.com. You'll get the basics down but would have to take a class, and therefore pay a fair amount of money, to go indepth.

Personally I took the classes instead of the online tutorial. However our professor was always directing us to read certain sections of the tutorial in order to accomplish our homework. It's turned out to be fairly useful, and quite a bit of fun programmin in Java. Written two programs for work, a call tracker and a conversion program, as well as a Diablo II resource guide (think Arreat Summit but smaller) for myself.

Edit: He was banned already?
