My Friend's Light Sork :eek:

Allo, i have a friend who is relatively new to the game but i know him in real life so i try to help him out. He made a light sorc which i'm currently trying to baal to level 75ish. He has very low dex and therefore no block. I will try and get him to use wizzy and get his res maxed out, but can he do hell countess and whatever it is that light sorks mf safely without block? Thanks in advance.

Sure, gear up a lifeleeching merc for him, and tell him to lvl it up in NM cows to his lvl. Then just a tele to countess' door, merc runs in, pew pew with CL :)

I've done hell countess runs back in the day with no block blizz sorc, having just the merc do the killing. It's well doable. Risky allright, but what isn't?

Just to give my input...

My blizzard sorceress last season whenver I ran hell countess (merc worked fine) didn't have max block, in fact, probably in the range of 35%-50%. She had SS/Shako though, so that might have made a big difference.

I'd say if your friend has no block he might want to consider getting some dr-based items.
