My First Zealadin Guardian Since v1.09

Paladins have long been my favorite characters. However since the changes in v1.10+ I'd been hesitant to make one on HC. I finally decided to give it a go. The first one died at Baal's nightmare throneroom due to some insane catch-up dupe lag: 30 minutes of minor lag creating 30 seconds of super speed sending 3 waves at once. The 2nd one died because he foolishly laid the killing blow on FE Lister, again at level 60 or so in Baal's nightmare throneroom. 750 life, maxed resists and a dwarf star were not enough. Third time was a charm and at level 82 he finally defeated Hell Baal. All leveling and questing were done WHCL realm solo. Trading was allowed. Act 2 mercs were used for most kills in hot areas (exploding dollies, IM casting Oblivion Knights).

Keeping with my multirealm theme this loooooong season, I'm going to try and guardian a fishymancer on EHCL. Then if the reset STILL hasn't happened, guardian something on EuHCL. That will give me at least one guardain on each realm.:grin:

Because I enjoy it. I like trading and chatting, but when it comes to playing I like it solo. In softcore I'll help out with the occasional waypoint, boss or quest...but I almost never do that in hardcore. I've never been rushed or rushed anyone else. I like killing monsters from the Blood Moor to Hell Baal himself. I still enjoy this game after 5+ years!:jig:

I couldn't have said it better myself. I am glad there are others out there that feel as I do about this game. I have been hooked on this thing since the original Diablo. It's never gotten weaker. . .and I don't forsee it going away for a LONG time.
