    My first Pat/Mat (Necro Halitosis)

Just completed my first Patriarch (or Matriarch) ever, the Poison/Skelly hybrid.

    Halitosis, Lvl 82

    Pnova: 3117 - 3297

    Stats with gear:
    S: 106
    D: 204
    V: 170
    E: 45
    Saved: 20

    Skills save: 5

    Life: 625
    Mana: 445

    Resists: 75/75/75/63

    Eq:
    Blackhand Key
    Pdiamond Homunculus
    33% skin
Rare circlet, +2 necro skills, +13 res all, +17 dex, 78 def, rep life +5
    Trang gloves
    2x great wyrm rings
    Nightsmoke
    Treads Cython
Rare ammy. +2 curses, +18 res all
Important charms: +1 summon; +50 mana

    Merc: A2 might
    Tals Mask
    Bonehew

This guy was great fun to play. He's got a good combination of skills so there really isn't anything he can't handle. He beat hell meph, diablo, ancients, and baal without breaking a sweat.

Now if I can just get around to matting my sorc (currently A5 hell)! :)

    Edit:

    Pnova - 27
    PExpl - 27
    Pdagger - 19
    Lower res - 15
    R skeleton - 24
    Skeleton Mast - 14

uh what are his skills? :D

congrats on the pat, the first one is always the best and you picked a doozy of a char to do it with. although a druid would of been better, even a silly wind druid

Good job. I'm working on one of these myself. (About to Champion.) When did you start working on the skellies? I only just dumped on a couple of points, not sure if I should go with Poison Dagger first.

Congratulations on the Patriarch...although the name is so so:)

I'm a little bit curious cause I have the same build only with focus on skellies, and I'm just wondering how effective the Poison Nova is with Lower Resists...cause without it, it's more of a novelty skill.

Thirty-Thirty: I think you should focus on skellies first...that'll be the easiest route, just remember to get a might mercenary if you don't already have one, and use Amplify Damage...That should let you be very safe and allow you to slowly work up your poison damage.

depends on what you want. a skelliemancer who uses psn as backup or a psnmancer who uses skellies as backup.

both are more than viable and its purely up to personal taste

I started out with 5 points each in skelly and mastery. Then I stopped until my skeletons began to die again, at which time I put more points in.

Poison nova was really effective. Even in A5 hell, LR plus my nova was able to kill most stuff with one or two casts. Considering it's large area of effect, I thought it was pretty impressive.

    Congratulations! Great job!
What were your skill points investments in each of the above skills, and how many total points in curses?

Was your Lower Resist dropping the immunities on normal monsters? I presume not, which is why I don't forsee myself putting more than 1 point in. If it did remove the immunity, I probably need to rethink my Mancer, if it isn't too late.

My build was so that three friends of mine and I could LAN and cover all the elements with ueber damage, so I'm planning on maxing Poison Nova and all its synergies, then dumping the rest (what few points it is) on Skeles: Mastery and Raise.

While I think of it, this is why these Pat threads are so much more useful than guides, IMHO.

I am doing the same as 30 30. My poison/skelly hybrid hasn't hit hell yet. I want to use a wand for LR and sink 60 into poison and 20 in rs and whatever I can into SM. I have a +3PN +others white until I find a web. Will the LR not remove Poison Immunes? like I said I'm not in hell yet but I will be solo.

    Cheers K

edit: I was surprised u made it so easily. I have much better gear and thought it was going to be tough going from what I have read. Basically a web and 3 part trangs makes all the diff from what I understand. Grats on the pat! :)
