    MP Games new players

When you are hosting a MP game and you have the players set to 8 and a new player joins does this reset the player count to number of players?

My apologies if this is in the wrong place....

Supposedly, and I always reset it to /players 8 just in case. :) I am sure someone will soon come along with the definitive answer.

    I'm pretty sure it does.

And it goes for joining or leaving.

If you've got 3 people in a game and set /players 8 and one person leaves, it sets to /players 2. So you should reset it. If they rejoin it goes to /players 3.

Someone can come along and correct me if I'm wrong.

It was like dashy said in 1.09. The players setting stays the same when a new person enters/leaves and im 90% sure it doesn't change game to game

I think it stays at P8. My partner and I play together all the time and often whichever of us is hosting will set the players to 8 before the other joins and it certainly seems like players 8 even after the new player comes in. Guess we should test that directly though.

Pretty sure it dosen't reset from my several years of MP experience.

Thanks to all who responded. Will test and post findings

Would be nice if there was an in-game way to show current Player setting.
