moving characters to a new comp.

    moving characters to a new comp.

    Im sure this is simple, but i cant figure it out. What files do i have to copy to move my old characters onto my new computer. i dont mind starting over, but there are a couple i'd like to keep.

    If you play on b.net there's nothing you need to copy, all your charactacters are on the Blizzard server.
    If you play single player, copy all files from your save folder to the save folder at your new computer.

    For SP all you really need is the .d2s file, the other files just have your maps on them which really isnt that important.

    What do you have a 20 meg hard drive? Copy the whole D2 folder. How big can it be?

    Well you dont copy your hotkey config that way, and it quite frustrating re-allocating the hotkeys....

    If the hotkey config isn't in the .d2s file then it's in the .key file, which should be in the same place.
