    Movies for Dondrei to watch

Every now and again Dondrei mentions a movie he hasn't seen yet.
The latest revelation is The Blues Brothers.
He also hasn't seen Night Shift with his hero what's his face that destroyed the movie Beetleguese and was a fair to middlin Batman.
He hasn't seen Ice Pirates, or Blazing Saddles.
And probably not Red Dawn, Cassablanca or Cool Hand Luke

Rustlers Rhapsody and Lust in the Dust I would recommend for ECI

What other movies are must see for Dondrei.
He probably doesn't need to see John Cleese's How to Irritate People though.

    the Fifth Element.

Everyone needs to see that movie.
You're not really normal until you have.

My brain still hurts from seeing that three years ago.

I'd add Star Wars(yes all 6), everything by Tim Burton, I Heart Huckabees, Thumbsucker, Jason, The Stanley Kubrick Collection, Best in Show, Waiting for Guffman, A Mighty Wind, Spinal Tap, A Fish Called Wanda, O Brother Where Art Thou, Terminator(all of them).

I'm glad I was not impaired in any way before I saw the movie.

I forgot about those, Dondrei was complaining about no good documentaries earlier.

Gangs of New York: a little "Hollywoodized" history of a Northern US city during the mid-19th century ... on top of that, it's entertaining and has a decent Irish folk tune soundtrack.

*Watch for the Civil War references ... probably the most realistic portions of the film*

One of the very few films that I stopped watching before the end. I will see even really bad films through to the end, but I just couldn't stand it anymore.

^Yup. Add the Last Boy Scout for more awesome Bruce Willisness, though I'm pretty sure he's seen that one.

Oh yeah: Beavis and Butthead Do America.

Instead of smacking Donny for not seeing Cool Hand Luke can we make him snort a line of cayenne pepper?

"What we got here is a failure to communicate. Some men, you just can't reach. So, you get what we had here last week, which is the way he wants it. Well, he gets it. And I don't like it anymore than you men do... "

Such a catch all quote for the OTF.

Geez, everything is about me lately. Although I have been getting behind, I don't seem to have much time to watch movies lately.

Well of course I've seen these:

*You should exclude Corpse Bride from that though...

**This is only accurate if you are implicitly not considering Terminator 3 a real Terminator movie...

Especially the Fifth Element, that's one of my favourite movies. Leeloo Dallas mooltipass!

Seen 1 and 2, keep meaning to see 3.

Also, no-one seems to have mentioned Dr Strangelove and They Live yet, I really want to see them.

I watched T3 for the first time last night on TV and something occurred to me... How did SkyNet wipe out three billion humans with nuclear weapons without rendering all the machines and computers on the planet useless with EMP?
