I just looked at my top 25 most played songs in iTunes.

iTunes did something weird to a couple of albums on my computer that I know I didn't listen to as much as claimed, which I felt like pointing out just to hear myself talk. Discounting those:

5. Sunset Rubdown - A Day in the Graveyard II (40 plays)
4. Junior Boys - In the Morning (40 plays)
3. The Killers - When You Were Young (42 plays)
2. We're From Barcelona - I'm From Barcelona (46 plays)
1. Yo La Tengo - Daphnia (133 plays; the song clocks in at 8:51)

I've been using the YLT song to help write a short story, which is getting less and less short, so that explains that. Everything else I just put on repeat, and they're mostly short.

This is only through three months of owning this computer (err 4 months actually):
1. 62 * She Cried
2. 49 * Rings
3. 39 * All She Said
4. 37 * Always Changing Probably
5. 37 * Fly From Heaven

All of those are Toad the Wet Sprocket songs... :D

(As for the first one, I'm guessing I left my computer running at one point for a long time; it's a good song but I don't listen to it by itself that much...

You can set up most decent programs to record the info for you :p (Winamp and WMP come to mind)

Probably but to lazy and don't really care how many times I listen to particular song, especially since I usually have it on random.

cool, i didnt even know WMP could do that too. it's a useless feature but i found it pretty easily on wmp.

You guys really should try devoting your ears to one song for a week or two, it really does wonders. *Goes off to play ToS on 4 different instruments*

Johnny Cash - Hurt (18 Plays)

That's really not very many given how often i have iTunes on...except there are ~4k songs in my playlist, and I rarely skip a song when it randomizes...so I guess 18 plays is pretty good under those conditions.
