    Most damaging weapon.

I'm currently building a charger and I currently need a big hurty weapon. What non-etheral weapon would be the most damaging (1h or 2h) taking in factor DS. I'm currently thinking about a Hellslayer (style pts for this one), DC with 38%ed jewel and a 3os tombreaver.

PS: Attack speed isn't a factor since i will charge with it.

    Make your pick:

Earth shifter, Thundermaul, 115-720, +250-300% Enhanced Damage
Cranium Basher, Thundermaul, 119-632, +200-240% Enhanced Damage, 4% chance to cast level 4 Amplify Damage on attack
Steeldriver, Great maul (you'll have to upgrade it twice to get a thundermaul), +150-250% Enhanced Damage

Bonehew, Ogre Axe, 103-609, +270-320% Enhanced Damage
Tomb Reaver, Cryptic Axe, 99-570, +200-280% Enhanced Damage

Steel Pillar, Warpike, 102-640, +210-260% Enhanced Damage

Rib Cracker, Quarter Staff (you'll have to upgrade it once to get a Stalagmite), +200-300% Enhanced Damage

Earth shifter has the best damage, however, I listed the others too since all of them have some mods you should consider. True, hellslayer has some potential, but the +max damage only really counts if you're a high level. Even then it just doesn't do the raw damage of these.
Personally I'd go with a double upped Steel Driver.
    1. It's a maul so doesn't require dexterity (and you don't have block so you only have to focus on strength and vitality).
    2. It has a really nice -50% req, so you only need 127 str max.

I had a pure charger once, but I got sick of him since charge was too bugged to really play with. However it's a fabulous skill damage wise so you'll have fun.

You forgot to mention that you intend to use this char for pvp, I think that affects some of the responses.

If you intend on making an all-or-nothing charger I'd say go with the EarthShifter and dump all stat points into strength. If you hit, you're likely to score a OHKO, if you miss/get blocked, you're almost guaranteed to die.

Good luck lvl'in with charge... that skill annoys me so much. It's not really a very decent PvM skill... Although you should score a couple of 1 hit kills on the weak monsters, and if you're using another skill.. that weapon is awfully slow.
