Most common "Flail" Dropping Monsters?

I'm trying to find a 3 Socket flail for my Frostzealot (to make the runeword Black). Where would be the best place to search for it? Anyone know what monsters/act drop it the most common? Thanks!

According to ATMA's drop calculator, the best places to find flails are in Normal Act 3's temples, durance, and sewers (everything in those places has the same chance)

Though I think you'd be better off making the runeword in a Knout (exceptional flail) if you can. The best places for those are the Nightmare Act 3 Swampy Pit and Flayer Dungeon.

Any 'white' flail you find in the first 2-3 acts can work too. If you use the cube recipe you'll have a 66% chance of cubing 3 sockets if you find the flail early enough (the item/area level must be 25 or lower, unless it drops from a boss-pack minion, in which case the area level can only be 22).

Or if you use a Larzuk quest you'll have 100% chance to get your 3 sockets on a low-level flail.

You can buy 3 socket flails from Fara in act 2 Normal.

Shopping normal A2 Fara is by far the best solution for a flail. By the time you are seeing knouts drop, you'll need some luck with the cube recipe.
