would a lion heart be a better armour for a zealot than a shaftspot and if not wat should i socket into my shaftspot

i'd say shaft for a zealot... and im not too sure about the socket... it really depends on your needs... if you need more resist than um... if you need more ias - then ias [or ias/ed if you can afford] - etc.

This also depends on the amount of DR you currently have. If you will be using gaze + string//verdungos you have a possibility of getting up to 35% damage reduce right there, and if you can afford ber that would obviously make that even better. But if you need this to be more cost effective, then shaft would be a better choice.
