    More AoKL questions

i know that the AoKL is arguably the best summon necro wand. i have been feinding for it for years now and a couple weeks ago i finally got one. the AoKL would be so much better without the bone prinson. Do you think the game designers put it there thinking it would be beneficial or as a buffer, in order to balance the wand's usefulness?

It might be there just for storyline purposes. In diablo 1 king Leoric is driven insane by diablo and his son kidnapped and posessed (the son turns into diablo). The king is killed and the story begins. (If I remember correctly.) The wand literally is an arm of that insane king.

How is a HOTO in comparison to an AOKL? Should I use an AOKL for summoning then switch to a HOTO?

Yes. You may lose a skelly, but they will be stronger and kill faster. Unless of course you don't need resists, then your best bet would be to use beast, lw, or magic find.

it really depends where you stand on the battle field,if you are in the front line then the BP is annoying, coz it block your way and all. but if you are hit by arrows / range weapon, the bp acutally will be casted around your enermy and it will block all their range attack, see act 2 and act 5.

I got eni and normally tele away from it if it block the way.

so thats how the BP works? i thought that it casted BP where ever your mouse heppened to be at the time. well now that i tihkn about it, it makes more sense. BP is cast on the target that hit you.
