So hypothetically speaking, if there were a gene for racism or homosexuality or spouse abuse or anything in particular that you find distasteful, would you be in favor of gene alterations to remove that trait from a person or the gene pool at large? If not, would you still hold that person responsible for that distasteful, in some cases illegal action?
