Monitor suggestions?
Hey. I've got a MAG 19" widescreen monitor - the manufacturing warrenty expired back in April.
It's starting to do something odd, and I wondered if anyone here has run across this sort of problem and can tell me if I'm best off attempting to get it repaired or just junk it.
When I turn the monitor on, it shows the image properly for about 2-3 seconds and then goes blank. The image won't return until I turn it off and back on. It does this on my wife's windows machine, and also when I tried it on my mac.
I tried calling Proview Tech for troubleshooting, but was on hold for about 20 minutes with no one answering.
*edit* I just tried the "flashlight" test and the screen is on. So it's the backlight that's the problem... that narrows it, but I'm still at "what now?"
