My WW druid has nice resists but it isn't too easy to get them. I don't know how rich you are itemwise but I'll try to advice

As headgear Jalal's Mane is best option but it can be hard to find. Kira's Guardian gives HUGE res boost but it isn't easy to get either. A rare circlet with nice amount of +allres is good, especially when it is socketed with res all jewel and has +druid skills

Magic/rare ammy with +allres will do fine, try to gamble those. I have a magic ammy with +25% allres, something like that would help you quite much. Mara's is good too but expensive

As for armor I would recommend Smoke runeword, it has +50% bonus to all resistances. The only tricky part is to get that Lum

And of course rare rings/gloves can give nice res bonus, IK belt and Aldur's boots are good too

And put some res charms to your inventory to max the resists which aren't that yet

Dang it all...thanks Lpr, I knew I was forgetting a Runeword...I made Lionheart and I have buyer's remorse now...Ral runes have now become important to me.

I have about 5 Lum runes so thats no problem. I'd love to get my hands on a Jalal's Mane...right now I have a +2 skills/+2 Dire wolves with a couple res., also I do have Kira's and that would take care of the CBF mod, hmm that means I could use another ring to make up more resists... I can't switch the amulet...I'm using Atma's for the juicy amp, but I guess if I give my merc a Reaper's Toll (Fawkes isn't gonna like that...her merc has it right now) that should still be ok.

I need to find a nice Circlet...or something. My options are limited a little due to the Atma and the Carrionwind...I loved the elemental damage on the IK Maul, not to mention CB and 200% damage to demons, undead...yeah I'll hook it up somehow.

Got my barb from the beginning of hell act 5 to the WP in WSK last night. Then I had to quit to go to bed. I should be able kill Baal tonight, then I get to make a pat post!

Ah, a diablous weekend. Got my necro all the way to Hell act1 and to lvl66 which wasn't really all that hard (fishymancer). Indeed, I've actualy gotten a little bored by how easy it is. So I started planning for a char with some more challenge: a axe wielding barb using Concentrate. I'm also starting it out untwinked and giving him stuff only when he really needs it, like at Hell ancients or something like that. Don't know if untwinked play is possible anymore in 1.10 for melee chars, but I guess I'll find that out.

Meanwhile, hardcore is starting sound really tempting. I'll definitely have to give that a go. End goal being all seven chars as guardians. Untwinked, of course (not that I have any hc items anyway). That should give me something to do for the next couple lifetimes.

today was bad. i had to go back to school after easter, but cause i have exams and then leave school, ive only actauilly got 4 weeks left, then 5 weeks of exams. so im keeping that in mind and school isnt asbad as it was before. however, i cant hep but know its cuttingback on D2/internet time alot.

I won't be totally lost, I will post my wonderful D) advice in future too, but not as often as now. It depends, but I think I can still visit SPF daily

And about finding school...I will do that when I know for sure what I want to do study seriously. This wasn't the right thing, now I need some rest from studies and time to find the way of my life. Maybe the thing I want to study is something I have never even thought about, who knows? Life is so full of surprises

comically, my very first unique ring was a 27% nagel, 2nd was a ravenfrost, 3rd (and last so far) was a 20% nagel...my sorc is loving he 27%. with it and gear, she's up to 100+% mf (don't remember the exact number). it has made for some interesting finds (equipped the nagel asap lvl wise, and then other as I found it). last night i found my very first unique elite weapon- the djinn slayer! woo! my zealot is going to be happy. it has a socket, and I'm tying to determine what to put in it- I'm thinking an amn for ll (I'm poor rune wise, so no um, etc). any advice anyone (highest rune I have is a lem, with the next highs being fal and dol- ran out of shael the other day and haven't found another yet). would an eth help in hell? oh yeah- fana zealot, maxed sacrifice, fana, hSd, and 12 in zeal or so and a few pts in veng. for PI's.

Have you tried running Normal Andariel? Last week, whilst running her in search of elusive TC3s, I got about 6 Nagels, including a 30% and a 28%, off her in under an hour. So either I got really lucky, or she's a good source of nagelrings.

After a slightly shaky start this Monday has turned out better than most. (Although technically, it's Tuesday now given that it's 1.36am).

Started the Monday Give-Away in the Give-Away thread. I think the warm fuzzy feeling I get from helping every Monday will go a long way to improving my general mood during that particular day of the week. I'm not generally known for my good cheer on the first day back after the weekend.

I did a couple of runs earlier as well in preparation for next week's give-away and picked up two Bartuc's (one of them eth), Lycander's Aim, Demon Arch and one or two other goodies so all-in-all a decent hour of D2. Andy is really beginning to appeal to me more than Meph even though she can't drop as many nice things as he can. Her ratio of good items to number of runs is just much higher for me at the moment and she's a bit quicker to run.

Apart from that brief, yet wholly enjoyable, distraction the bulk of my day has been taken up preparing the final exam for the course I'm lecturing. I've been sitting here for the last 5 or so hours trying to think up questions that are neither too hard/too easy while also being sufficiently different from past exam questions so that students can't simply prepare answers in advance.

Ah well. It needs to be in by Wednesday so I guess my D2 time will be somewhat limited until then.

Yeah, I could do that, but I have a REALLY nice map for Durance 2 and 3, as well as a pretty good WSK 2 & 3 in Hell (and I can't remember how to save/reuse maps, so I won't really bother with that). Plus, I have already have a 26% Nagel in one slot and a 22% MF magic ring in the others, so it's more of a personal quest, I suppose. *shrugs* Plus, Meph's been nice enough to cough up a couple of SoJs, so as long as he wants to keep doing that I'll forgive him for the poor Nagels!

Hmmm...you mean something like:

1) What is the max %ED with which The Grandfather can spawn?

2) Which Rune gives +% Cold Resistance only?

3) How many +skills does a Paladin get if he equips a Lidless Wall, Silks of the Victor, and Tal Rasha's Adjudication?

Your criteria were that the questions shouldn't be too hard or easy, and they should be different than past exam questions. I'm pretty sure those would fit the bill, no?
