It is very possible that the actual code for making the levels and monsters appear is not present in the code shiped for people to download. I think that was the case with the uberdiablo in last patch. If so, it is virtually impossible to mod it in. The fact that you get the keys, I would rather attribute to lack ot testing or not realising they should be disabled for single player. Alternatively, the new patch coders didn't understand the item creation well enough to easilly exclude certain items based on single/multi player. It can be done in several ways, some extremely easy, some very hard. It depends a bit on HOW you want to remove them and how the removal should affect the drops. That is, should you just have them turn into no item? Into something else? Or simply be disregarded and thus affecting all other items? For each option, there are several relatively easy methods I can think of, although it might not be that appearant.helvete said:Well, the add runewords mod was OK, and the mod making runes appear red was OK, so why wouldn't a mod adding in the actual game content for us who prefer single player be OK too?
The keys already drop, so shouldn't it just be to make the cube recipe active instead of inactive or something.
Wow! havent seen somebody try the color trick since that damn "Poison Dagger" was running wild here!Harleyquin said:Since you are dead set on asking for a mod, google the "phrozen Keep" or private message RTB for help.
