Mindblast and Shadowmaster Question

Do you need a hard point in Mind Blast to make your Shadow Master cast it? Will she still cast it if I get it via my claws?

i'm pretty sure a shadow master will cast every skill available to an assassin, but the more points you have invested, the more it will cast that skill. thats the reason why ghost sins' shadows mb so much, and why team trappers sometimes max out MB before their last synergy.

No, shadow master can use skills you don't have, including MB. However, a point in MB is never a waste.

i've never seen shadow master cast the following: fire blast, blade sentinel, blade fury, psychic hammer, CoS, Shadow Warrior rolleyes, cobra strike, and maybe dragon talon.

but then i've never heard of the "more points you have invested the more it will cast it" so in which case ignore me.

Out of those I think I've seen sentinal, CoS, Talon, and *i think* Cobra Strike.


But yeah, the Shadow master takes preference of skills with higher point values, so if a PvP sin isn't maxing mind blast, they'll usually put an extra point in it.

My Shadow Master likes to use Fists of Fire and Blades of Ice O.O

Seriously, my Master killed a pubby zon with one MB + release of previously charged Fists of Fire Meteor while I was standing in town LOL.

MB is going to be useful on ANY sin you'll ever make. So I say a hard point in it is definitely worth it.
