    Mice

Well, I've posted something like this before but now, it will take a more debatable approach.

So do you prefer optical, wireless, or the good old wired ball mouse? Or do you like funky trackball things and stuffs? Why do you prefer them? More responsive? More precise? Doesn't need batteries? Not enough USB ports?

Go ahead and discuss. I was told ball mice are much more responsive but i've been told optical is much more precise.

I use a wired ball mouse right now.

I love my optical mouse. Responds better, more precise, doesn't ever jump or anything. If I use a ball mouse now it pisses me off.

One of the more interesting pointing devices I've seen is an optical trackball which a friend of mine likes. It has a normal trackball, but rather than detecting movement by way of the traditional wheels, it has a laser like an optical mouse would, only trained on the ball instead of the desktop.

Edit: Expect the optical mouse to pwn this poll.

Generally, optical is king, I'd never go back to a ball mouse.

I'm starting to get attracted to the latest in Bluetooth mice though (Logitech MX900) But I'll wait until it's a little more foolproof until I make the shift.

It was, until Logitech unveiled their new Bluetooth stuff at CES in december. I can't wait till they buff up their new diNovo media keyboard.

Optical wired for me. I hate the idea of charging my mouse.

Optical Trackman Marble from Logitech. When I can afford to I'll get the wireless version of it

Booyah! Thirteen to one and the one disenting vote is _also_ an optical mouse. Did I call it or did I call it?

I guess I really should get a mouse one day.
I am just so used to tabbing through and using enter and various shortcuts using a mouse feels weird.

    PSYCH! Oh Snap, Gotcha!
*Edit-Oh yah, Optical Mices are the best

I have this same mouse except that its not wireless/bluetooth. I've been quite happy with it. It was advertised as a "gaming mouse".

I have an optical mouse. I wanna get a wireless one but I have yet to find one that is responsive and doesn't do that annoying sleep ****.

    Any suggesting?
