MF summoner, what do you hunt?

Hiya guys. I just started playing again with this ladder season. I played a necro, among others, last season, but never posted here, only lurked.

This time around I decided to make a summoner (based mostly on nightfish's guide), my last necro's were pure bone and pure poison. Anyway, so far I'm really enjoying this type of necro, it's a lot more fun than I first expected (and not having to chase fallen and all those mobs that love to run is very nice ).

My plan was to level a summoner to be my main MF char, since they can go by with crappy equipment. Was a toss-up between sorc and necro for me (sorc would prolly be better for boss runs with tele and fast killing speed, but I figured necro would be better to clear out level 85 areas, where sorc will often suffer from being less efficient due to immunities and slower kill pace in MF gear). So now my question to you summoners out there is, do you use your char for MFing? If so, what run do you usually do each game? I'm still quite a bit away from being able to do it, but I just wanted to make sure I'll have a good MF'er with my necro, so hearing what some other people do would be great!

Personally, I don't really like the stupid "kill x, new game, kill x, new game, kill x, new game..." routine, so when I play I usually take the grand tour: all act bosses (except duriel), pindle/eldritch/shenk, and whatever else I feel like doing --- cows, countess, pits/ancient tunnels, flayer jungle, travincal, kurast, tombs, Radamant, Fangskin, ancient way... this list is in no way exhaustive, I just listed a few random names

I'm not a bot, so I change areas, including whatever map I feel like doing, even if it's not alvl 85 or home of an act boss. Sometimes I spend a weekend trying to get a dclone.

I generally don't do Maggot's lair since I'm a bit slower there, and I find that I'm not doing Arcane very often either.

EDIT: I'm completely ignoring the whole mapset after Pindleskin.

This ladder season I ran Pits until about level 87, then moved on to Baal runs. Wisp+Tgods will make solo Baal runs relatively easy. Nice thing about both those places is you will level as you MF.

With my summoner, I do mainly pits. It's such a boring and time consuming chore compared to boss running.. I just love running in there, amping everything that moves, and then just standing around, clicking CE everywhere...

I plan to do a lot of areas before I create a new game. I'm not much of a fan of just doing one place and creating new games constantly. Possibly also doing gold find runs to gamble on circlets/ammies too.

Good thing A Skelemancer build almost naturally encourages this kind of play --- capable to solo hell, no teleport and "running past everything" is not only difficult to survive but makes your army vanish, thus encouraging people to actually kill the monsters and view the act boss as a big golden uber chest at the end. And normal monsters CAN drop stuff as well; something those noobish mf sorcs tend to not even know (I even remember a post where someone was very surprised when he got a good item by accidentally clicking on a chest...).

As a side effect, I don't need endless baalruns to level --- I'm 89 or 90 at the moment (don't remember, since I've not even decided where to put the excess skillpoints I've collected over the last few levels), and normal playing does add to the exp-bar.

behind the red portal next to Anya, just inside the building after the garden. in hell he can drop almost everything (No ararchnid, no tyreal might and no cow king stuff iirc)

if you don't take the wp in level 2 of that annoying area the portal stays up...
