When my character was at level 85 with about 400 MF, he got amazing drops, but I matured him a bit more and now he is at level 90+, and it seems that the drops are just sucking. I mean I rarely even get a blue item anymore... I was curious if the character level goes into the formula of finding MF? I mean nothing changed on teh character, he still has 400, but now he is just at a higher character level..

No, character level has nothing to do with it.

Drops are completely random, with MF pushing the randomness a tiny bit towards higher qualities.

chlvl has nothing to do with MF. It's just that you a) go through the period when nothing notable drops. b) Something notable drops, but you don't consider the dropped items notable anymore. (what was good for you before has no value for you now)

You probably found a few rare items and got used to it, and now you didn't find good stuff for some time. That makes you draw the wrong conclusions. To make statistically relevant statements, you have to back up your theory with several dozens of good finds or the lack thereof. You just had bad luck. Character level has no influence on MF, as already said.

okay.. thanks for the reply... it just sort of sucks that I found a perfect templars might, a fathom and a seraphs within a week, and now I haven't found a single thing.. I also found out that it is possible that Andy could drop 1 item which could be a healing potion in my case
