Mf Pally

Can I really make a pally that can mf and actually get profits? I'm working on my Hammerdin right now and I just herd that he is pretty good at mfin baal. Havent ben on in like 3 months so all this stuff is new to me... So can i really make a pally that can actually mf and get me better items than me pure Fire sorc?!?

You bet!
Fire sorc can do only Andi and may be Mephisto runs...
Hammerdin can MF any area given he can teleport if not ... still you can do Travis/CS-Diablo/Shrenk-Eldrich in reasonably fast pace (w/o enigma)

Absolutely. After messing about with sorcs for eons, I discovered the Hammerdin. He's much maligned, but with a stick o' teleport purchased from some NPC in nm and a decent HF merc, the hammerdin can go anywhere. Before my HC hammerdin bit it, I had accquired things like a +2 valor,skullders,3 or 4 bonehews,etc,etc and did all that with around 250% mf. He's a great tank and can kill most everything within a matter of seconds.

I'd pick my hammerdin over my multiple MF sorcs anyday. He's much more fun and efficient at MFing, and has just as much MF (mine currently has 495, my best sorc (meteor/FB) has a little under 550).

However, without enigma, the sorc is much better than the hammerdin for Meph runs, since teleport charges will often not get you all the way to Meph without several extremely expensive repairs. I did manage, however, before I got enigma. And a hammerdin can solo baal and all his minions with ease with all his MF gear and mediocre equipment.

I'm sure you'll enjoy your hammerdin for MF. But for starting anew, and untwinked, the sorc would be the better to begin, since they're slightly less item dependant, and instantly have the teleport skill.

Mf-hammerdin is the way to go

I have a lvl 85 hammerdin who I planned to use as a pvm char.

Then I got a shako and I decided to do some mf runs.

Now my hammerdin has 566% mf and is doing andyruns on hell.

I keep finding stuff like, sojs, shakos, bul rings and so on.

Mf pally is the way to go imo...

I'm just curious, but what is the ideal equipment set-up for an mf Hammerdin?

I was going to make a sorc, but now after this discussion, i am really interested in trying out a hammerdin! He sounds like a stud!
