MF Help

Hi all, I'm new to D2 (can't believe I only started playing, games been out for years) and I need help with MFing. I don't know where I should MF. I want to get some decent gear and/or runes. I'm currently a level 70 blizz sorc with max resistances in normal, 40/48/75/16 fire/cold/lightning/poison (respectively) in nightmare, and all negative but lightning in hell.

Any and all advice is appreciated. :thumbup:

Type Moat Trick on youtube, it is the best way to get good itens for poor man's char.

I used to run hell andy/meph with an old school fo/ts sorc, the moat trick is happiness if your merc/you can't tank meph. Countess always drops low tier runes, like up to ko I've heard. Hell Meph can drop nearly everything since he's t87 I think.. As for this ladder, running an es/fo, I've just been running nm andy/meph, not the greatest of the drops, but decent ones, like occy, nice rares, got a 35res viper just yesterday off meph. NM is easier on my merc and resistances, just limited to what can be dropped.

Hell countess can drop up to Ist with her runedrop. Everything above that she drops at the same rate anything else drops runes. She loves dropping El runes, though, and I've all but given up on running her. :/

In nm I usually run andy and mephy until I get good enough gear to run hell. For my blizz that'd be at least an occy and a good resist vipermagi, if you can also find a peasant crown, The Eye of Etlich a Tal's or a good rare ammy, chance guards, lidless wall and a goldwrap to up these would be very helpful. For a merc I look for a tal's helm (for the lifeleech), duriel's shell and a polearm to make insight in to get him ready for hell.

When you get to hell run andy, mephy, pindle, ancient tunnels and cows. Once you get good gear for you and your merc then you can add in countess, summoner and nihlathak for the keys they drop.

Thanks for the advice everyone. My friend gave me some gear, and I got an Um from hell hellforge, so with my new gear I have all max resists in nm. I'm gonna try out nm andy/council/meph for now.
