ring: bul ring
belt: goldwrap/ arachnid
gloves: frostburn/chancies

this gives me around 300 mf. wich is enough to find the uniques.

Just a few things:

Don't bother with the frosties. I'm sure you won't need the mana, and if you do, flash redemption after you kill a mob... you'll be fine. Stick with chancies if you're MFing.

Definitely go with war travelers as your boots... if you're MFing, the only other option I would take would be good rares with resists / stats / faster r/w / and some MF.

Stick with an upped goldwrap, IMHO. I have an arachnids in my stash in case I'm not MFing, but for MFing, don't bother with the arachnids... unless you absolutely need the +1 to skills or FCR.

For an amulet, go for a +2 to all skills amulet such as mara's... the resists should benefit you a lot, too. If you can't get one, settle for a good, rare +2 to pally skills amulet, preferably with resists and/or stat bonuses. If you really didn't care, and you were dealing enough damage, you could even get a MF amulet to up your MF a little more.

With your shield, don't bother with an Isted Zak unless you really want it on switch. I'd say it's a lot cheaper, and just as effective, to make a good rhyme shield (or even a splendor) and put it on switch with a Gull Dagger/Ali-baba (ideally dual-isted.) Which gets me to my other point, you need a switch weapon!! So definitely use a gull or an ali-baba on switch for additional MF. Socket either with Ist(s) and you'll have a ton of MF, and you'll still be effective...

I'm sure you'll be fine regardless of whether you use my input or not...

It seems he'll be sacrificing a bit of resists and +skills if he sacrifices both his amulet, one of his rings, and his armor like that...

I'd say use a ptopazed skullders only if you can manage to up your resists and damage elsewhere... once you pass 300-400, anymore is basically overkill IMHO. I do fine with 200 on one of my characters... however my hammerdin does have around 500.
