Meteorb sorc question

I've seen all the meteorb guides, but since I'm tryna find better mid level gear, AND key run, I wan't to do meph/andy/and hell countess/summoner/and nih. So should I focus on fire or cold, or just stick with soaps light guide?

Both the Meteorb and Blizzball work fine and will do all of those with ease, barring the countess which your merc will slaughter.

Just pick the one that you like most.

Oh right, I see what you mean.

With respect to Vega, I doubt that you will notice much difference with your FO when you max CM. It will kill a bit quicker, but not by a great deal. And this is at the expense of your fire skills.

I'd stick with Sasja's build. If you really wanted a dual element sorc focused on cold, the Blizzball is the one to go for.

Okay Saja's build says to go dex to max block, now this is kind of a debate but which do you think is more benifical max block or put thouse points into vitality for a mf'er ?

Her guide gives that as a suggestion, just as well as the vitality route. I would say for most people both ways work. Vitality route will let you carry Spirit Shield which gives nice mana, life and +skills. Block route will reduce the amoutn of times you actually get hit. Both need to invest in str and blaock route in dex.

i agree...don't waste points on dex for blocking (you'll regret it later when u need the vitality)

What if you regret it later when you need blocking? People's replies here just prove that it's a personal taste thing; both are quite viable.

indeed - both work. It always comes down to playstyle. If it were as simple as points into dex or points into vit, I'd choose blocking every time. But going max block just limits your shield choices too much. (just about all of my builds need the FCR from spirit too)

Why not get the best from in between. Try to obtain max block only with SS if you plan to do alittle pvp if bored from MFing, that obviously will not let you achieve max block with spirit.

Possible, but I would then be uncomfortable with the lower life when switched to Spirit and PvM/MF'ing (unless if you use CtA).

What does your dex have to be to max block at higher levels. I know it depends largely on the shield as well but whats a ruff number. As I have a wind druid and he has 200 dex currently and has max block with his shield, but his shield sucks.

My worry is I will put to many points into dex when there not needed becuase

a.) I don't have any good gear yet
b.) been awhile and i'm not familurized with the gear agian yet, so I'm not sure what I should aim for.

Agree, in fact people won't go non-block for the vitality, since there is not much diff between ~200 dex and ~156 Str(to wear Monarch) but for the ability to wear Spirit and get higher FCR and FHR.
