Meteorb Sorc Help

I'm building a Meteorb sorc, but I'm not following the guide exactly, I'm only lvl 15 so far, but I put a point in frozen armor and a point in shiver armor... is this going to effect my build very much?
I'm just making this as my first character for MF (right now using a gull, two nagel rings 30% mf and chance guards) waiting to lvl up to use my Skulder's Ire, War Travelers, Occy, and Lidless Wall.
Any suggestions about which to pick as far as block or vit?
I'm a noob, help me please.

Those 2 pts you spent for Frozen Armor and Shiver Armor won't kill your build. Dont worry. The build should be finished by lvl85 from what i remember. So just keep going til 87 and it will all be fine.

Won't kill like he said [deleted]... one time I flubbed and miss spent a single skill point on my 28ish sorc and ended up starting all over again.

My 70s sorc has +3 shiver from an orb she picked up... I'd just rely on items for sorc specific defence.

Don't go max-block with a Lidless. It requires too much dexterity to be worthwhile. Max-Block vs Max-Vit comes up often here, just scroll through a few days worth of this forum. All of my keeper Sorcs have max-block with a Stormshield.

1. Spending 2 points won't kill the build, in fact I spend those 2 points in all of my sorcs. Getting almost double defense and chilling anyone that swings at you is well worth 2 skill points.

2. My recommendation would be max block. Instead of a lidless, use a Stormshield (most people recommend), an upgraded Viscerataunt (nice block and +1 skills), or an upgraded Moser with 2 PDiamond (my preference, good block, +63% all res). There is another thread going right now asking block vs. vit, you should read it.

3. I would recommend that you put the pure MF gear away until you're ready to start doing boss runs. While you're leveling I would recommend gear that helps you kill faster, has resistance, fcr, +skills, etc. Once you're higher level and can do MF runs easily, then switch your MF gear back in. You don't want to spend twice as long leveling because your killing speed is slow so maximize your killing and leveling speed for now. Once you're stronger and start doing pure MF runs, then put your skulder's, chancies, nagel rings on. Until then, use a vipermagi, ravenfrost, dwarf star, magefists, etc. And on main switch Wizspike + Moser gives you maxed resistances (even in hell) with pure MF gear, that's why my bliz sorc uses that instead of Stormshield.

If I'm going to go w/ a storm sheild (I can get one very easily) then what should my base vit be? I'm now lvl 24 and I've put pretty much everything into strength (97 for Skulders) and about 10 stat points into vit (I pretty much die when anything hits me right now). And about 20 stat into energy/mana. It seems like max block really helps, so I'll get a SS. Probably pick up a Shako while I'm at it too.
So my question is, what should my base vit be and when should I start putting points into dex?

I normally don't put more than 20 points into Vit at the beginning of the game. I'll put in a few so I don't die to 1 hit, but I usually put all into Str at the beginning for Sigon, then 1-2 levels worth into Vit. Then I start increasing Str for my gear.

Usually I try to hit max block or close to it by level 40-50. At that point you put 1-2 points into dex at each level to maintain max block and can put the others into Str or Vit as needed. But I usually use a Whistan's guard instead of SS while leveling. With SS you might want to save a few more points since it's block isn't as high as Whistan's.
