Well everything looks perfect except for one very important thing!
You invested close to NOTHING into Vitality. Even with a max-block build you need all the rest of your points into Vitality and NOT into Energy.

Infact with the gear you have, you need to put 0, nil, nada points into Energy!
sasja's is very clear about that. Even with a high amount of 20 life scs you cannot remedy that error you made!

Looks like a rebuild to me, sorry :(

Well, it depends if you want a perfect character or not. Above poster is correct, especially with those 2 sojs, you're not going to need nearly that amount in energy. That said, it's just going to make it a bit more difficut to play your sorc in hell, if you stay with your current build. You could always put some points in energy shield and give it a try. Or you could just pump the rest of your points in vit to bring your life up as much as possible. It's up to you, the character definitely wont be completely worthless, it will just be a bit tougher to play. If you just want to use the char for mf, I'm sure you'll be able to kill meph with your current build just fine (as long as you have good ice and lightning resists).

I recommend you go ahead and see if this character can survive long enough in hell to do what you want to do, and if so, then who gives a flying fart if you made the perfect build? Use it for mf and make another perfectly planned out sorc for pvp or something. If she cant do what you want to do, then go ahead and remake her.

Also, just remember if you do decide to go with energy shield, the mana that is sucked is taken before your resistances are factored in, and thats a big weakness of energy shield. Doesn't make it completely worthless though, but I decided that I dont want to use it.

Okay, so I goofed in the vitality portion, I guess I have an expensive mule... or at least a good character to rush noobs in normal. When I remake... probably soon. I would like to know how much is enough in dex for Storm Shield and how much is vitality supposed to be with max block. I'm not clear on what I need to put points into here. With my sojs, charm and occy; I should have decent skill boosts (not to mention lidless and skulders as well). I'll have a better start than most.
Can anyone give me a rough outline of perfect stat investments in regards to this build? ....Maybe I should just get a skill calc. I've tried to download them from here before, but it never works. Argh, I'm tired of sucking at this, help me!!!

Unscene, the stats distributing is very easy to follow:

Strength: Enough for items, maybe a bit less when you have items that give +xx str.
Dexterity: enough for max-block with your shield of choice
Vitality: ALL OTHER REMAINING POINTS, really ALL !
Energy: 0, nil, nada

Code:
Dexterity required for max block (75%) for a sorceress

shield str	block	dex/lv	LV30	LV50	LV80	LV99
-------------------	---	-----	------	----	----	----	----
Stormshield 156 67%	2.24 83	127	195	237
You can equip SS at lvl73, so aim at the lvl80 dex requirement. Then you will certainly have maxblock when you can wear SS.

I would suggest downloading the d2calculator. I believe there is a link to this console application on the main page of DiabloII.net. I use it all the time. It will calculate the shields chance to block.

Cheers!

Well his no life sorceress can still work if you think about it, hopefully he is talking about sc (i am a hc player myself), but i figure with good teleing skills and decent charms, he only added about 100 to energy, which is only like 200 life when added to life, not that much of a difference since realisticly (15life x space in inventory, x32 spaces, 8 for items=480 life+regular life ~700). If you really don't have time to rm or play sc, I would just stick with the guy, just be a little more careful.!

Just so you all know, I'm remaking the character. She's already lvl 42 and so far so good. No investment in energy isn't so bad, because I'm using the right equipment. At first I was furious about the remake, but it's really not so bad. Besides, the old character is a god in normal, so I just use her to help out noobs.
