Merc Lvlen question

My merc is currently lvl 52'ish for my blizz sorc. He really can't kill cows by himself, and he dies super fast, nm cows that is, so anyone have any suggestion? Its a holy freeze merc usen crown of theives, rattle cage, and hone sundan. His equipment that ready for him is an eth bonehew, 18% leviathen, and blackhorns/crown. Thanks in advance.

didnt you know whenever YOU kill something your merc gets the exp as well?? lol, u dont have to let him get the kill, u just have to make sure he lives and make sure YOU are killing the monsters, not your party.

just keep trying nm cows, i got my merc from lvl 47ish to lvl 60ish doing a few nm cows... herd them up blizz and use tp to keep your merc alive.. you should do just fine

Yes, but if you kill 10 monters in the time your merc kills one your merc will still level up 3 times as fast.

It's "experience over time" that really matters.

Also... if you run Pindle for mfing with a merc...
Take the merc in there and after you kill pindle let him/her clear the place out, I lvled my merc up to his current lvl 93 by doing this mainly... it works wonders.
