Heya, looking for recommendations for keeping my Act 2 freeze merc alive (running 8 player hell mostly soloing). I'm a hammerdin build.

I really have to baby him by running and kiting larger groups or he dies in 3 secs.
Sometimes I even quick switch to meditation aura for extra healing on him.

He has a 8ll polearm, and I'm looking for a ll helm like Tals.

Appreciate any advice.

Tip:

Put Insight on him for permanent Meditation which = never need to stop for mana.

Then throw a Eth AP Fort on him for the defense, and Vampgaze on for his helm.

That should keep him alive much longer.

If have tele, tele away when your merc is about to die. The only leech I have on my merc is from tals mask and he rarely dies. Like Necrolic said, you need better gear on your merc.

Thanks for the advice, figured it was gear as well. Just wanted to make double sure before spending those pgems hehe.
