Merc choice?

Merc choice?

I cant decide on a merc for my Zealadin/1 pt Smiter.
(have 14 Defiance from my Exile)

Might and Holy Freeze are top choices, but I'm not sure which would be better for key running / Ubers. Well I assume Ubers will kil him in 5 seconds no matter what

Opinions would be awesome

Harmony Great Bow
Treachery
Vamp Gaze (I used Rockstopper since I already had lifetap)

BTW: Taking a merc into Uber Trist is just asking for trouble. It might be fun to fight them all at once though.

Treachery? The assassin armor runeword? .......

Yes. It is one of the best merc armors for the price.

The only pain is that she'll be a bit fragile until the fade kicks in. After that, she'll pretty much never die. She'll do decent damage (mostly elemental), so she'll take care of PIs and OKs.

interesting idea. Would you change out the treachery for an upped eth shaft?

That would work except she will then painfully lack resists.

EDIT: If you um the armor and helm, then maybe.

EDIT: I reread the thread that I linked to. Yes, shaftstop should work fine, but I really liked the level 15 venom on treachery.
