Merc cannot survive!!!

How do I keep my merc alive when fighting mephisto in hell. He is an act2 defience merc, lvl 76. He wears tals mask, duriel's shell, and a reapers toll. He dies in like two hits from mephisto though! How do i get him to survive??? please help me out

His lvl is like still too low for Mephisto. at this stage it will be hard for him. Feed him Reju potions and take care fo Mephisto faster.
Your gear setup for him is just fine.

I don't know if he will survive here either... but if you try killing Pindle, and then let him kill all the rest of pindles guard, merc's get great exp from that. And your merc is just about the right lvl to get big exp off of them, that how I lvled my merc, and how I have kept him up to lvl 94.

My merc uses same setup and has zero poblems with mephisto..
Only thing is that you level him more(mine's lv 92)
