    merc best for cowing?

most people say infinity merc, which is obivous (conviction + lightning DUH!), but for people who actually cow, they say its best without a merc. i myself have had all 3 difficulties of cow king killed by my infinity merc when the portal spawned too close to the king. also i agree with other when they say the merc gets in the way and doesnt allow u to herd the cows into 1 big ball as well as u would by urself. so is the infinity merc still worth it? is there an alternative?

either infinity merc, or no merc at all
enigma javazons are perfect in cow lvl since they can reposition the merc (and with him conviction) - at will

interesting how your merc killed the king, as in my games (hell) king is always phys immune & light immune (unbreakable)

I agree with Leohappy, Enigma+Infinity Merc on a Lightning Fury Javazon obliterates cows. Usually when my merc attacks the king, he dies. . .lol

    I agree with crawlingdeadman.

    No merc, no valk, nothing.

    Much smoother.

Yep, agreed nr.3, no merc, no valk. I only use Decoy if I get in a pubby game, and the packs are hard to get down.

When using Infinity merc I always use Enigma on my java. Repositioning your merc in cowlevel and in CS is essential in my experience.

Nice find. I ended up redoing my jav zon (lost cow making abliity), and ended up having 1600 life on her or so. She could mow down cows and take one hell of a beating. (I made solely for cows btw, so no extra points in dex).

I've been thinking of making an MF javazon for cows. Anyone have suggestions on a good setup that gives good MF and survivability in cow runs?

No merc is great. Some like a freeze merc since it can make hoarding large groups alot easier.

As MF javazon, it depends on the areas she rounds, MF javas do best in open areas and with huge pack of enemies.
