memtest86.

Anyone use this program? I can't seem to get it to work.

I downloaded the .iso file and burned it to a disc. I then went into my BIOS and made my DVD drive the primary boot device and tried booting up. This is supposed to allow the memtest program to run, but nothing happens.

As far as I can tell, I followed the instructions on their site correctly, but I am flummoxed. Am I missing something?

Stupid question, but you burned the .iso file as an image, yes? (As opposed to creating a disc with the .iso file stored on it)

Edit: the files on the disc should have the following structure:

./isolinux
./isolinux/boot.cat
./isolinux/boot.txt
./isolinux/isolinux.bin
./isolinux/isolinux.cfg
./isolinux/memtest
./isolinux/memtest.34
./isolinux/memtest.smp
./readme.txt
./src_v35.tgz
./src_v35.zip
