dangerous bears

The Werebear Druids are very dangerous. First they do some spell which would stun me forever. And then they finish me off with some melee skill which does also stun. So I'm stunned throughout the whole match and simply lose for this reason. I think these Bears are really cheap. Still found no way to handle these guys melee. Only way to win is using bone prison or some other ranged skill. And hope it won't hit you with its stun spell! A Werebear is way too strong for barbs or palas! You can't even get into Smite Range. They will stun you before you land your first Smite. And this crazy stun move lasts forever. It won't wear off. Even worse, the bear keeps stunning you with its melee attacks. And they got life. Plenty of life! Their health bar won't drop at all from a Smite. Seems they got 7k life or even more.
BEWARE OF THOSE HIGHLY DANGEROUS BEARS THAT CAN STUN YOU! (You will encounter them rarely as they usually lose to ranged PvP players.)
Only ranged players can win. Melee is too risky due to their stun spell.

use a smiter... charge in and switch to smite fast - then they are stunned instead

or use leap [attack] with a barb and ww around quickly - if they stun you just leap away

smite>ww - my average smiter can take apart a godly ww barb 9 times out of 10, you just have to stand still and make them come to you

loool that the worst ive heard in a long time u stand still u simply get clipped to death by the barb outranging u with a ba as pb is only range 2. U use ba u stil can be clipped but its harder and even then the barb swtiches to doom meaning u lose ias for fastest smite.

Find some real barbs these guys obviously not even close to godly.. th only way a smiter can 50/50 and beat a barb is if u are increadibly good at tele-smite or holy freeze flashing + tele smite. And this has been proven by others in this forum and i have experienced it for myself..

in all the fury wolves ive dueled with my smiter, its entierly dependent on who gets the first hit in... the wolf has more range but no block, so it evens out

Fury/Rabies is a tad different from Fury in which we'll just bait you into a charge, Rabies you, take a step back, have you charge us again, then Fury you to low life, then walk away while you die to Rabies ;).

Then again, I'm using Flaming Rabies right now so I suppose I'm not "melee" >.>

what weapon does fury/rabies use... if the smiter gets the first hit in its pretty hard to get a rabies off, and it only takes a max of 4 smites to kill a wolf... or about 1 second :p

Who says they'd stand still and let you get multiple Smites off? And they either use EBotdZ or Grief PB normally. Sometimes they'll get creative >.>.

if the smiter has longer range all hes gotta do is shift-smite and wait for the rush... if the wolf has more range then hes gotta go in hoping for a block on the first hit.. either way, once 1 smite is off its pretty hard for any character to recover fast enough to avoid the next few, especially if the smiter can back them up against something to get rid of KB

This has gotten terribly off topic. However, I'll say this: First Hit isn't the biggest factor against Smite. Especially when you have 3 frame hit recovery. Dodging Life Tap is the biggest concern.
