Argh, I got that damn song stuck in my head. It's not that bad a song, quite catchy. The video was damn interesting imo. Pretty obvious what the band supports/ is saying. And I can't really blame them heh. Your thoughts?

A pretty awesome song IMO, though I am an Incubus fan.

I remember a thread being made about the video not too long ago. Also, I don't think I saw anyone post in there that they liked it.

I posted in it saying that I liked it. I remember that thread... I had a rather longwinded reply to someone who said it was crap because of how it compared Hitler to Bush... Too bad it happened before the server crash... :teeth:

That's why I liked it. I don't believe Bush is like Hitler, atleast not yet, but he's certainly going down the wrong path.

That's the thing I had been discussing.

I don't believe that they compare Bush to Hitler in the sense that he's a xenophobic ******* with genocidal tendencies, but rather that they compare him in the sense that he's an attention-seeking fool... (And now the flame wars might commence, yet again.)

i thought the video was a bit heavy-handed, but i don't think what goes into the video is up to the band. i honestly don't think we'd need to see that flash of Bush's face to realize the bald-generic-politician man was a representation of Bush.

I like that song. A little more upbeat than the old incubus, which I like.

Try listening to the original. If it doesn't make you twitch or at least get a headache, I applaud you. I can't remember the damn band who did it though. It was from a Mortal Kombat soundtrack. >.<

I think simply put you could interpret as "Youre no god among men, and youre not the king".

Wasn't the video banned on MTV because it shows a flying Hitler? Pretty stupid when you compare it to stupid **** songs that glorify the thug lifestyle or whatever you wanna call it.

I think its a good song/video...if you're an Incubus fan or you've heard some of their music, its either pretty artsy (can't believe i used that word) and emotional or something with a sort of social message to it...if you like that song, buy the album.
