    Meet Ethereal

Ethereal is a Sorceress, very, very fragile one. Her physical strenght is minimal (the base 10). Actually, it's so minimal that she can't carry anything else than ethereal items with the exception of her jewelry. The strenght will come magically from charms, rings and amulet.
Why I want to do this? The base strenght is just for the theme. The ethereality is supposed to remove my phobia against wearing ethereal items. It also looks darn cool in the character screen and the ethereal shield is just something too good looking... I've always felt very sad because there's no shield with good stats, ethereality and repairs durability in X seconds. Yes, there is Exile, but Paladin's Holy shield will overwrite the looks and no-one else is able to use it.

Here's all my ethereal items suitable for the Sorc:

Don't know if the build is Blizz-baller or what, but Blizzard will be there anyway. Mercenary will be Act 2 Might or Holy freeze. The ethereal rule doesn't concern him.

Wish me luck finding some nice ethereal items and amethysts

Would be totally selfdestructive ;p I haven't died yet (lvl 24, just got Blizz), but I'd say she dies first time at level 50-55 when she gets back to Normal from NM and lets Charsi imbue an item. Charsi isn't that deadly, but when I decide to do couple Baals in boredom, it's just bye-bye... It happens every time. Also using SC items in HC would be... err... what you call that?
So no HC for me, but thanks for the suggestion ;)

Back to act 2, my gloves broke btw. And armor is soon gone too. To the spare stash!

Now this is a worthy cause but I would like to know what happens when you run out of spares or are you hoping to keep finding new spares as you go?

    @ smilts and lordbeaver.
Well, the weapon lasts, of course. The armor will last when I hit the level 42.
But it's not too hard to find non-socket ethereal items like bone helms, kite shields or breast plates, socket them with the recipes found in this guide and making cheap runewords like Lore 'OrtSol', Stealth 'TalEth', Ancient's Pledge 'RalOrtTal', Rhyme 'ShaelEth' and so on and so on... It's just the matter of PGems and low runes.
The boots and gloves are the toughest parts... Both are very rarely ethereal, and the ones that are, don't have many useful mods. If I can't find any, I just run bare feet and wield my staff without the smooth leather gloves.
But as long as I have a belt that carries my potions in three, maybe four rows, I'm happy :azn:

I think that even if the belt breaks, as long as you don't unequip it, you still get the rows...not sure though...

GL with the build!!! RPG ftw

    Thank you.
I wasn't 100% sure about that either, or actually, I just wasn't sure if the rows were usable after a death. But I confirmed it, or actually some pit lords confirmed it. They broke it and then couple minutes later they killed me. The rows were usable, both of them!

    A few pics:
    Equipment
    Slayer Ethereal

The reason I don't have gloves in the first picture, is that I crafted them... It wasn't the required level skyrocketing... It was the... eh... idiotic something that turned my very-much-ethereal gloves into not-that-ethereal gloves after putting them, PSapphire, Ort and a Tin Jewel into the cube and pressing the transmutate button.
I discovered something new, but what a horrible price I paid! Chain gloves with 26%ed and Half freeze duration. Please, tell me who to blame
