    Max sage or twister?

I'm doing a clan honor windy so max lvl is 85. That means one of these will be maxed and one will be lvl 13. Life vs. dmg. Which should I max?

Me, I would go for twister. Your sage will get a boost from plus to skills, but synergies do not get a boost from plus to skills. Go for the synergy, twister.

depends on how strong your tornado damage already is. If it values around 3000 damage on a pure wind druid then you generally have enough already. I do good enough with 1200 tornado damage for an old 1.09 elementalist who went with a combination of fire and wind.

From the calculations I made with the gear I'm hoping to get (still 4 charms and a BK ring short) my dmg would be:

with lvl 13 twister and 20 sage:
    tornado 4737-4985
    hurricane 2056-2155
    cyclone armor 2449 abs
    Sage 180 inc life

with lvl 20 twister and 13 sage:
    tornado 5254-5529
    hurricane 2382-2497
    cyclone armor 2704 abs
    Sage 145 inc life

If you are PvP, Damage is king. In PvM, long life is good. Base your next points on that.

As wind druid your skills are not very ranged and it may turn out to be difficult to hit a ranged character, even with high run/walk on your side. I would therefore favour longevity over damage. Cyclone armor gives a good elemental defense and spirit juggling can attract a lot of ranged attacks, but that may not always be enough.
Now if it were a fire druid then I would have agreed that damage would probably pay off in the long run.

You can have an easy time against ranged attackers if you have teleport and get on top of them, but I don't consider that real dueling.

Good luck dueling without tele, LOL. :D
    Max twister imo.
That's like what, 100 pvp damage, if they max block it's fifty?
That could end up being one less hit it takes to kill them when you're at 1 life, you never know.
There's plenty of time to max oak sage if you were smart with your point.

It's important to state that I would say Fenris is one of the druids i would ever turn to for help. I know he is sad that his guide isn't up, but when it is, check it out!

Thx for the answers, but it looks like I need to make a few things clear. I'm making it for clan honour pvp which means no Tele and max lvl 85.

    Twister all the way.

    Why?

1 - Dead wisp = instant life lose. Nuetralized 20 skills points.

2- DMG is king = How many shots do you want to kill? Sometimes 1 less shot makes all the difference.

3- Easier to level with more dmg.

4- Im running out but I know theres more, lol

    Clan honor, what clan honor?
They spend all their time arguing about the rules, and never duel.
My guide was reposted by the way.

A lot of fast run/walk is nice but an assassin or a pally with vigor can make quick work of you even with all that run speed.

Dueling WW asns literally requires enigma to survive.

Yes, but still, good luck dueling without tele on ladder, were EVERYONE else teles, like I said the only populated duels are pubby, not much a guy who wants to duel can do about it. And you will die, repeatedly, without enigma.

Actually this is the first one I'm doing with such rules, but to me it seems more fun dueling when you dont have to tele to have a shot. And besides that I just cant aford enigma at the moment.

Thx for all the answers. I'll go with twister then. Sage dying is the thing that puts twister over the top I guess.

he'll have fine luck tho, because as he said before he's doing clan honor. clan honor = no tele.

What's the point of saying oak sage does too fast? You can recast it easily enough. I actually prefer it when they go after my oak sage first, since it gives me time to attack them and recast it before they get to me.
