max or ed jewels for charger?

ok so i've asked and asked with no direct reply, i have a 39 charger pally with a 65ed/115ar shield, if i put maxers in it will it mess it up(like ed/max jewels do)? and should i use Ed jewels instead?

No, it will work correctly, use + max jewels.

The bug only applies to ed/max coming from the same source (ie a single jewel), adding max damage to a shield that has base ED% will not mess anything up.

I'm not positive however, how it would work if for some reason you went with some max jewels and some ed jewels, I would assume it wouldnt cause the bug, since the ed and max are still from different sources. Then again, thats more of a hypothetical, since +max jewels are clearly your best bet, and they wont cause the bug, so there'd be no reason to mix and match.
