Max mana build

    Max mana build

    I wonder if there is a calculator for a max mana build that includes all possible sources of mana sc 20/17 gc 45/60,rare ammy with "great wyrm" mod(+90) and "wizardry" mod(+20),wizardspike,shako..etc.
    I found energy calculators,manashield calculators, manaregeneration calculators but no such thing that could calculate the max possible mana on a sorceress(= her insane energy bulb), including a lvl55 bo from a barb.The mod 15% max mana increase also confuses me:Does it increase the +mana on gear only or the +energy/+stat(anni+torch) aswell?
    I know that "battle orders" only multiply the +life and + mana not the +stats.
    If someone ever tried to figure that out please show me a linki would appreciate it.

    It could be funny to list all the items that maximize the mana orb. Are you thinking about building an Energy Shield sorceress with max mana orb :scratch: ?

    never seen one or seen anyone needing one - easiest prolly to make your own little spreadsheet
    +%mana is same as bo - only multiples +mana on gear and base mana from hard points in energy and lvl. (mana/lvl doesn't multiply either)

    Indeed, i am just building a nova sorc with max TK and max ES,her stash i filled with life/mana sc/lc/gc along with anni and torch.The idea is to make this baby unable to be one hit killed by TPPks on HCL.I was lucky to roll a+6bo cta and my life is base and i reach 3300 mana at the moment(lvl79 so far).
    I did some research for a max mana build:

    The list for a lvl90 sorc

    Helmet:shako. +1.5 per lvl =+135 mana socket sur(+5% mana)
    Amulet: Bahamuts Amulet of Enlightment:+120mana+30 energy
    2nd choice:rare +2 sorc +90mana+20 energy(+mods, resis)
    Weapon:Wizardspike:+15% mana +180 mana +*** Tourquoise of Knowledge+20mana+9 en
    Armor: 4 socketed sur +20%mana
    Belt:glooms trap +15%mana
    Gloves:Frostbrand +40% mana
    Shoes: Silkweaves +10% mana
    Shield: 4 sock monarch sur = +200 mana
    rings: 2 sojs +50% mana +40 mana
    2nd choice: 2rare rings +90 mana,+20 energy(+ mods)=+180mana+40 energy

    Inventory:
    10 sc serpents of vita= +170 mana
    9 gc serpents of vita=+531 mana
    +20 anni+20 torch

    Total:
    +%(with sojs)=+155%mana(+135% if you replace it with enigma for + str)
    +mana=+1396mana(boable)
    +energy=+79(not bo-able)
    stats:+2 mana each lvl for sorc= +178 mana(lvl 90)(not bo-able??)
    +35 energy base:+89 *5 +15(lam esen)=460 possible points in energy(not quite realistic, str + dex needed to equip stuff)
    ..lets say 400 energy(Bo-able by barb)

    and finally lvl55 bo(+194%??? mana),(lvl57 with skill shrine)
    result: i have no idea how high the mana bulb is:brainiac:

    as said above shako isnt best for max mana and prolly not wiz or some other choices choices due to +mana/lvl+energy
    spirit and circlet with +mana be better.
    make spreadsheet and try stuff out

    TO helm gives 150 mana... which is BOable, so much much more than shako

    Yes, you are right, but until today i always believed that shako was/is the best helmet for maximizing life/mana.(espescially for sorces).+mana/ life per lvl is not BOable, well it is new for me.:laughing:
    The % increase of mana: does it increase the +mana per lvl or just the +mana?
    The stat points you put into energy are they increased by the +max%?
    The stat points received from items seem not to be affected +max%, because they are not BOable.
    If mana is increased by +% from items, is the total mana after the increase BOed or just the "base mana"(from stat points invested and +mana from items)?

    It is not easy to sort that out,the mods on wizzardspike/shako are that godly(+skills/life/resis/+%max mana) that it is not worse than spirit/To helmet.(but the total mana seems to be higher)

    1. +max% works just like BO and they are actually added together before being applied AFAIK.
    2. Stat points invested in energy increase your base mana, so of course they are affected by +max%.
    3. This sounds correct.

    Did you think about Lidless Wall ? It gives 10 Energy and 10% Mana. Under certain circumstances, it may be better than a raw +200 Mana :scratch: ?

    I know the 4 sur shield is ridiculous,but its just about finding a max mana source for a max mana bulb.The 10 energy is not BOable, while the +200mana is.I think a nice spirit shield is much better than lidless:+112mana(BOable).

    But the Lidless Wall can be socketed with Sur, giving it 50 mana 10nrgy 10%maxmana which is better than 200 raw mana if you already have a lot of raw mana from charms, Psapphire TO helm, and so on. 10%maxmana is, what, 3.333333 lvls of BO?

    First builds DCR is 55 not 35. Lidless has 20%.

    Also, using a JmoD withs surs would help blocking a good deal.
