If you get enchanted for the low lvls you could easily get cowed at 20, get rushed to act 5, leech baal runs to 40, get rushed nm and leech baal runs to 60+. If you really wanted to, you could probably build a 60+ char with no stats or skills placed, maybe higher. In my opinion this would be extremely boring, pointless and would involve a lot of leeching but I'm sure it's possible.

People have actually done this quite a bit, selling the stat-free skill-free characters on Ebay to extremely lazy people.

I have done it with sorcs in single player through level 30 but I wqas playing with Softcore at the time.
I know that a SPF forum member was playing a challenge to get a hardcore sorc through the game without placing stat or skill point. Using staffmods and +skill with charms for stat he was able to get into act 4 normal fairly quickly.

I play most of my characters that way. I can usually get most of the way through A1 without assigning any points. For a Sorc I put one point in Static and that's usually enough to get through most of A2. I think the farthest I went was a paladin that I couldn't decide on a build, he was L32 and in A5 before his points were distributed.

Last season I was trading level 70 characters with no skill or stat points used. Its really very easy to do.

That was back in 1.09, I made the character in anticipation of 1.10, where I figured I'd be able to place all the stat points and skill points in relevance to the synergies and 1.10 builds.
Of course, the entire character was ditched when I decided to play ladder on 1.10....

I think it depends on the rules you set for yourself. Placing no skills and stats basically means playing with the stats you start with, right? So you can hardly equip any weapons/armour and have no life.
There is a nice story of a guy here someway who played a Sorceress, Irene the infirm that way, she only used her fists to punch monsters, getting all WP's and eventually managed to kill Andariel (she and her Rogue Merc). If you play by that rule, I think finishing act 1 is as far as you can get.

Throw on enough STR charms, and you'd actually be pretty set.det said:

Consider a sorc starts with 10 str, you'd need 45 more, or 9 large charms of str, or str from rings/ammys. Not too hard if you keep the stuff when you find it. You'd be completely naked, though. Probably have what, around 150-200 life? And if you stayed out of harms way, with the mosers socketed with pdiamonds, you'd actually have enough res to withstand a hit or two in nm, which could get you to level 70ish from baal runs. Slap on some dwarfstars laters for the life and -mdr, and a nice ammy, you could do it. Probably sell her for some nice gear.

Anyone who plays with me usually hit 35-40 with no points used.
TM: Be careful bro. Trading character accounts is very dangerous to your own characters. The reason Dii.net doesn't allow trading of accounts is because your CD Key is attached to these accounts. Someone could easily take the account and go botting with it or use a 3rd party program and get you into trouble.
