    what is the max damage weapon in the game and what s its damage??
    BOTHD ethernal war pike ??

    how about a crafted safety war pike with:
    40 ias
    +63 max damage
    +300% damge
    +200% damage 300AR
    4 sockets
    4 reduced damage
    2 reduced magic damage
    +10% defence
    1 additional socket from larzuk qest

    sockets filled with 5 rare jewels with:
    30% damge
    +15 max damge
    10% res all
    -15% req
    7% FHR

    all together:
    40 IAS
    138 max damage
    +650% damage
    300 AR
    50% res all
    -75% req
    35% FHR
    +10% def

    damage:
    237.6-2167.2 :D:D:D

    i am not sure about thiz additional larzuk quest socket so corect me if am wrong
    the pike cant b ethernal if it is crafted

    the lvl 25 charge with synergies gives +1500% damage add 100 str and u get +1600% enchanced damage
    so charge damage would be: 4039.2 - 36842.4

    average: 20440.8

    if u have some Deadly Strike in your equipement u will have a good chance for an average 40k charge :D which is 6800 i pvp with 50% physical res (1 hit KO in 95%)

    and this is not counting +damage charms and skill charms and
    if u get couple of those u can reach 10k pvp damage

    with -75% reg u need 43 str and 27 dex to use souch a pike
    make it 55 str so u can wear Mage Plate Enigma (261 def max) which will boost your str to 129 which should be enough for other equipement

    55 str
    27 dex
    15 energy
    408 vitality (408*3 = 1224 life)

    We talk about legit items, don’t we?
    Legit 1.10 crafted item CANNOT:
    - Has Jeweler's mod (4 sockets).
    - Be socketed again if it is already socketed.
    - Has Grandmaster's mod (+200% dam, +300 AR).
    - Has of Evisceration mod (+63 max).
    - Has more then 2 prefixes and 2 suffixes except predefined ones.

    Legit 1.10 rare jewels CANNOT
    - have more then 2 prefixes and 2 suffixes.

    Normal War Pike has 178 maximum damage. Normal Thunder Maul has 180 max damage.

    i know that rares cant have those prefixes but crafted ??

    i undersatnd it like this that it can b found on eny item except rare

    so u can have 8 mods on safety pike counting Reduced Damage 1-4 Reduced Magic Damage 1-2 +5-10% Defense

    so u can always make it on 1.09 and use it on 1.10

    are crafted items treated as rare or magic items ?? or do they have their own class 'crafted'

    i think you can get the grinding mod with 43 max total damage, damage X level.

    crafting mods will give 60 ed, but lose the etheral mod.

    "Fool's" and "Grinding" as modifiers add scaling maximum damage (.5/lvl for one, .75/lvl for the other). But even then at level 99 you would only get 44 and 74 maximum damage, respectively, and it would require the sacrifice of a socket (Cruel, Grandmaster's, and then either sockets or scaling damage). So in other words, "Grinding" is only better if 37 average damage is greater than 50% enhanced damage on that weapon (or 40% enhanced damage and 7.5 average damage).

    You can't get Grandmaster's on a rare.
    Also Fool's is in the same group as Master's, and Grinding is in the same group as Cruel. You can't get either of those on a Cruel+Master's rare weapon.

    As far as actual weapons go, I am the proud owner of a 431% ED, 20% IAS +3-4 ethereal legendary mallet that runs 401-487 damage 1-handed. I have not seen a real weapon anything close to this, average damage wise. Cannot speak about 2-handers though -- still looking for one!
