Max block for a skelly mencer?

Hi guys,

Skelly mencer is currently at lvl 39 with 50 points in Dex. Should I invest emough for max block or spend my points in Vit?

I have only died once and do tend to stay out of the melee, but range attacker can be a problem and I have had a few close calls in nightmare.
