Max WB, Lycan, Maul and a Spirit (preferable HoW). Get you a Bear to tank and a Carrion vine, few points in shockwave... your gtg
Stats I'd say your typical setup: Enough str for gear, Dex for block (or AR if goin 2h weapon, maul bears have AR issues) and rest in Vit.

prion, check out safetypro's Town Dump Werebear guide here on the forum, it's Maul based, plus has a strong minion aspect (combined with a decrep merc and Shockwave, the one I tested was nigh unstoppable). Not to mention it can be made for dirt friggin' cheap!

with the right equipment, one can get very respectable damage on Maul. Here is my old SC Maul bear

hitting a massive 18K! (using ebotd war pike)
using the standard Maul , shockwave route. it was kinda slow going. amble along , shockwave the pack and then go to town on them. This shot was taken without any torch/anni's or good charms, so I excpect you'd have alot more Ar, res and life. (this bear was softcore) I did use a pride/might merc.
